Chapter 7
Felicia’s POV
“Bulls eye!” I grinned proudly, examining my work. I placed my gun in the holster on my hips after I pressed the safety button. ‘Constant Vigilance. Always put the safety on the gun or else you’ll be missing your bum.’ Dad always says solemnly but his eyes gleamed mischief.
“Don’t get it over your head Fel. You’re still an amateur,” Lucian said as he effortlessly shot the center, like always.
I rolled my eyes, irritated. “Yeah yeah, we all can’t be as talented as you, Oh big brother.”
Lucian hummed as kept his gun; he went beside me examining my target. “Still needs practice squirt.” He ruffled my hair teasingly.
I huffed slightly then nodded, since some of my shots were slightly off center. I started to clean up when I remembered something. “Luke I’ll miss tomorrows training.”
“Why’s that?”
“I have something to do,” I evaded, can’t let him know now.
He raised his brow. “Alright.”
I smiled in thanks and headed off to my room. I closed the door and opened my closet, looking for the perfect outfit. I was so excited about tomorrow. I suddenly cursed myself for not caring about my appearances. I only have shirts and hoodies. I sighed. “Can’t be helped.” Closing the closet, I sprawled myself on the bed. A stupid grin made way at my face as I remembered Sykler and about tomorrows date. Closing my eyes I snuggled my pillow as darkness consumed me.

“Fel! Wait up!” I smiled at the figures approaching me. When they caught up I started walking beside them. “Morning.” I was also greeted as well.
“You're wearing that to your date?” Lorraine asked eyes wide.
I looked at my clothes, brow raised questionably. I was wearing a simple black collared shirt with white lines at the side for designs, tight jeans and black converse. Sure I know nothing about fashion but my clothes are not that bad. Right? “Yeah, something wrong?”
Lorraine shook her head. “Nothing. I just thought that you’ll wear something more…striking.”
I shrugged. “Almost all of my clothes are like this since I’m not really into fashion and stuff.”
Lorraine made an O with her mouth.
“If you ask me I think even with that get up, many will turn their heads to you.”Lilian commented.
I snorted, disbelief written in my face. “Sureee…like that’ll happen.”
“I have to agree with Lily thought. You have a great figure,” Lorraine grinned, “What you’re wearing totally hugs your curves! I’m so jealous!”
“Eh?” Was all I can say.
“Yup!” Lorraine gestured around,” Even they seem to like it.”
Looking around, I saw many eyes were staring at me, mostly guys.
“I told you, you’ll turn many heads to you,” Lilian said chuckling.
“Oh…” I didn’t know I even have a figure, must be from training I guess.
We reached our room and talked. The teacher came and discussed. I was looking at her as my mind wandered about Skyler and our date. Fleetingly, I wondered if Neil was alright. Mmm…I should visit him sometimes; he was a nice kid albeit a little crybaby. Time flew by and the next thing I know the school ended. I mentally whispered appreciatively on how time flew by. When I’m deep thought, I tend to not notice the time and it will be difficult to garner my attention. Well that’s what Luke always says anyway.
