Skyler's POV

"Any second now would be appreciated."

I spared him a glare then I placed my foot back.

Zach snorted. "Many students have been staring and snickering at you and your actions for a while now. Thought you'd like to know."

I scowled. "I'm having a moment." For the past ten minutes I have been placing my foot forward and back at the same spot, just outside the door of the cafeteria, hesitating to enter. Inside was Fel with her friends and I decided to abide by my promise to ask her out.

Well as soon as I feel my legs. Ah, I'm not scared or even nervous as hell just...hesitant. Yeah, hesitant. Suddenly my face was aching then realized I face was planted on the ground. I stood up slowly then glared murderously at the smirking suspect. "The hell Zach?"

"Just lending a helping foot."

"Helping foot my arse. You git." Sure it didn't hurt but it was damn embarrassing and bloody annoying.

"Are you alright, Skyler?"

"I'm fine. Don't worry it didn't hurt anyway."

"Ah! That's good to hear. Why did Zach kicked you anyway?"

"Oh that...well," I motioned her to come closer and whispered solemnly, "that's cause he's a sadist and enjoys others pain and suffering."

I let out a grin when I heard her chuckle loudly, shaking her head.

"Hey Fel."

"Hmm?"

"Can you go on a date with me?"

"...Huh?"

"A date with me, but if you don't want to it's alright." I assured her.

"No! I mean yes, yes I'll go on a date with you."

"Really?" I asked, slight disbelief that she answered yes.

She nodded, smiling. I beamed at her feeling both relieved and glad. "I'll pick you up later if that's alright with you?"

"Sure."

I grinned feeling my happiness bursting. "It's a deal. See you later Fel!"

I left the cafeteria then was confronted by Zach who was oozing with smugness and amusement. "See...You wouldn't have gone that far without my amazing and helpful foot."

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Thank you Oh Almighty Lord Foot."

I grinned like a fool feeling immensly glad and relieved to actually gather the courage to ask her out. Thank Heavens for that.

Urg! What happening to me? I used to be calm, easy going fellow and was never lacking nerves in any way. And now I act like a blundering buffoon, doubting myself and my actions when concerning Fel. Sometimes I hate myself for being like that...but being with Fel.

I wouldn't want it any other way.

Fel's POV

I was smiling happily, pointedly ignoring Lorie's and Lily's persistance interrogation about what happened earlier with Skyler.

So I have a date huh...a date. I-I should inform my brother that I'll be home back late. So after texting him I ate my desserts discractedly still ignoring my best friends insistent questioning.

I can't wait!
