One Hell Of A Shiner

The first impression the guys had with me, didn't go as I planned.

When three hot guys came barreling down the stairs, shoving and laughing at each other, I tensed. They all looked the same way they did in high school when I saw them, just more muscular. Zach with his black hair and light blue eyes, Preston with his dirty blonde hair and green eyes and Alex with his blonde hair and blue eyes. All were equally gorgeous.

"Who's the chic?" Preston asked with a smirk as he looked me up and down. I sucked in a breath of air and held it as Noah said, "This is Callie. She wants the extra room across from Ryder's."

The smiles they had all previously worn were vanished in an instant as they looked at Noah as if he was crazy. "Are you serious?" Zach asked.

Noah nodded and took a step towards the stairs, where they still hadn't came down from. "I know this is crazy. I don't even know why I said yes. I mean, the risks are high with the house inspectors visiting once a month; they'd make us leave campus if they found out a girl was staying here. Plus with her being underage-."

Noah didn't even finish his sentence when Alex held up his hand. "Whoa, hold up. She's underage?! Have you lost your damn mind?"

Zach and Preston both nodded and gawked at Noah and me.

"Look, I know, okay? But it's not like anyone has to know! I mean, when the inspector comes we can just hide her. And she won't tell anyone." Noah said.

Zach snorted. "Noah, don't be so dense. She's a high school girl living with five guys, one of which is a rock star. Of course she'd tell someone."

If I could have spoken, I would have told them I have no one to tell. But I was nervous, plus I wasn't inhaling any oxygen by the swimming feeling of my head.

Noah, Alex, Preston and Zach all started arguing at once. I just stood by the door, watching as my vision grew tunnel like. Everything was out of focus and spots were being seen.

"Dude, is New Girl alright?" I heard Zach ask as everyone looked at me.

"Holy shit! She's turning blue!" Alex yelled.

Noah ran over to me and shook my shoulders, "Callie, breathe! Breathe damn it!"

Oh yeah, I had forgotten to release my breath when I took one in earlier.

"Someone call 911!" Preston yelled and Alex slapped the back of his head, "Great idea genius. How are we supposed to explain a girl, an underage girl, being at our apartment in the first place?!"

"Everyone just shut up! I have a plan." Noah yelled, looking behind him at the guys for a second before turning his attention back to me. "Don't be mad at me Callie, it really is necessary for this kind of situation." I had no clue what he was talking about, but when he cocked his hand back, I got an idea.

"Oh shit-!" The rest of what Preston was going to say was lost when my vison went black.

"I can't believe you hit a girl." I heard Zach's voice whisper, yell.

"What was I supposed to do?! We couldn't call 911 without people finding out she was here!" Noah whispered back.

"She's going to have one hell of a shiner." Alex laughed. I heard a slap then him yell out, "Shit! What was that for, Preston?!"

"Don't laugh! What if she's dead!" Preston whispered in anger.

Alex snorted, "She's not dead, idiot. She's unconscious. Give it time and she'll come to." I moaned and tried to open my eyes when he said, "Oh. My. God. Guys I''m psychic! I said she was going to wake up, then she-."
