Did someone ask for a rant about Laurel's death? No, well too bad.
So I am, to sugar coat it, fucking livid. Now I hated her in season one and only started to like her recently but I honestly started to love her this past season. She was just so brave and wonderful.
She was a strong woman character and I'm not saying Arrow doesn't have those, we have Felicity, Thea, Sara (I know she's in LoT now), Lila and a bunch more but all of them have let guys take away there spark. (I'm not counting Sara cause she left Arrow and is on LoT.)
But think about it. Thea is always after some guy this time it's Alex. Felicity left the team because her an Oliver broke up and Lila has been downgraded since her and John got married. Not saying I dislike the guys I love John and Oliver they're wonderful and have a great bromance.
What I'm saying is Laurel was a strong independent female who realized she didn't need a man. She was not only the black canary (which she had the natural talent for) but she was also a kick ass lawyer.
Laurel was a great character and I'm mad that she'll no longer be on Arrow but the part that gets me is she was killed off like she wasn't a main character. She was killed and after only a few episodes they stop talking about her and they rushed her funeral so much and didn't give her the respect she deserves.
