Coldflash Argument

Barry and Len fought over almost everything. What type of pizza to get, which one of them their kids would look more like, and everything else that could be debated. It usually ended with one of them storming off and them making up over coffee or sex.
This time was different. Len had nearly been caught on a robbery. The cop who had been chasing him was ruthless and had a reputation to shoot first ask questions later. Barry couldn't bare the thought of this and even though he promised he'd never interfere he did. He got Len out of there and somewhere safe.
Now the talk of the town was the flash saving a known criminal. The fact that Barry risked his reputation for him made him furious. After Len made sure Barry was okay he yelled at him.
"Barry how can you be so stupid. I had it covered. Cold gun, remember?" he growls at him. "Len." he said softly, trying to calm him down. "You promised me that you would never get involved with this. You're the flash. You can't risk saving a criminal." he yells. "Well maybe if you just gave up robbing banks I wouldn't have to."
"Barry I've told you a thousand times, I'm not giving up this life. It's a part of me. I care about you but I care about myself more. This is something that makes me, me." he says harshly.
Barry starts to scream now. Len drowns most of it out. At this point he's used to long, angry rants. Mick and Lisa like to give him an earful when he has a close call and from his childhood when his father would get mad at him.
A quick jab at his shoulder made him pay attention again. "Are you even listening to me?" Barry says, outraged. "I can't believe you Leonard." he says throwing his hands up. Len quickly covers his face and backs away.
Barry puts his arms down and stares at Len who's now slightly shaking. He thought back to some of their conversations about Len's past, and the harsh abuse from his father.
Barry pulls Len close to his chest for a long protective hug. "I could never hurt you Lenny." he promises him. "I'm sorry I yelled at you, and got involved with a heist. I love you." he adds.
"Thank you for saving me. I'm sorry for being a douche." he says. "And I love you too Barry."
