As she stared at the newyork sky line from her ceiling to floor glass office window she couldn't believe how much she has been through the past two months. She couldn't stop wondering what went wrong when she decided to say 'yes' to his proposal an year ago. Was it desperation? Or the fact that she was blinded by the fact that the man she knew since high school finally popped the question that everyone was asking if it would ever happen since they first started dating.
"Miss.Everton? Your one thirty schedule has arrived for the meeting." Her personal assistant said when she entered the office.
"Thanks Mindy,send them right in,i was waiting for them."
"How are you Hailey?" "Cut the crap Chase,we both know we are not here for formalities and know about what the other is doing ,how is your god forsaken brother? Is he still in bora bora with that whore he left me at the altar for?"
"Hailey,am sorry." "No,don't explain,its my fault for being blind all these years. Let's get down to business shall we?"

As she entered the apartment she dropped her room keys on the bowl next to her door and went straight to her kitchen and picked up her new found beau,vodka.

She said that to herself when she poured the liquid in the glass tumbler. Taking in a deep breathe she moved to the living room and turned on the television after a long day at work.
The news reporter was talking about something she couldn't comprehend until she saw her photo being flashed on the screen next to her ex fiancé with his 'new love'. She turned up the volume to hear the words. The infamous ice queen hasn't confirmed if its true that she was left at the altar by Caden stanford just because she has signed off half of her company to him and left her to be with his college fling,and yet the two have been dating since highschool. The kingswood company is now under battle,will Hailey Kings get her company back or is her pride that she has to get back first?
She turned off the TV as she felt her blood boil under her skin. Holding tightly to the glass she threw it across the room letting it shatter against the black and white painted wall,letting out a scream that she thought would release her from the anger that is still clutching at her throat she went to her bedroom and decided to take a bath to release the tension.
I hope tomorrow will be better. She said to herself as she sank into her bathtub and closing her eyes.
