Unforgivable

Chapter 7

Having to wake up every morning to do what you like the most in my life was my dream.
Managing and owning a multi-million dollar export company was one of my dreams come true. I woke up feeling happy and took a shower and wore a short sleeved button up white shirt with a red pencil skirt. Finishing it off with a black blazer and black Louis Vuitton highheels,i went to make my daily black cup of coffee.
As i poured it in my mug i sat down on my kitchen stool,when i was about to add some cream in it i heard my door bell ring.

Now who will that be at my door at seven in the morning?
Leaving my coffee i went to the door and opened it.
I was greeted by my long time friend Catie Stanford.yes she's my friend even though her annoying brother left me at the altar for some bimbo.
"Hey Catie,what are you doing here so early in the morning?" I said opening the door further for her to enter.

"Oh,you know me, i came in to check up on you,how are you?"

"You know you called yesterday and also if you wanted to see me you could have gone to my office or just called right?"

"Yes i know that."

"But am good."

"Am sorry Hailey."

"What for? You know i forgave you about what your brother did long time ago."

"Yeah i know but i have something to say sorry about too." She looked at me through her eyelashes with a nervous expression. This told me shit was about to hit the fan.

Touching her long darkbrown hair i asked her." What is it Catie? Tell me."

"I hope you forgive me Hailey, Hailey,i know what Chase was planning months before the wedding and-"

"You what?" I said while standing up due to shock and the fact that i can't be near her at the moment.

"I knew about the scheme Hailey and i didn't tell you because..."

"Because what Catie? Because of what!"

"I wanted you for myself and i love you Hailey,i love you and i wanted you for myself and i saw this as way to get you Hailey." She said standing up and placing her hand on my face smoothly caressing it.

"What the hell Catie!" I said pushing her hand away and taking a step back.

"Why would you do that to me? You knew how much this company is to me and yet you lied to me just because you are in love with me? Are you fucking crazy?" I shouted at her while clenching my fists.

"Yes am crazy,am crazy and madly in love with you Hailey, I love you." She said that while taking a step closer and placed her hand behind my neck and kissed me.
I couldn't take it i pushed her and took a step backwards and told her." You have to leave my house right now Catie because at the moment i don't think i can stand your face and i don't want to do something that will make me regret later."

"Am sorry Hailey,i really am." She looked at me with glassy eyes and took her bag from the floor and left.
Is this family fucking crazy? I took a deep breath to calm myself before i do something stupid. I saw on my watch i was late,i took my bag and left my apartment.

When i was at work i couldn't concentrate at all. Why did she do that to me? I understand that when you love someone you tend to go crazy in order to be with them but this was just being insane. She better let my company go to her brother to hurt me instead of telling me the truth. Will i ever trust her again?
And how comes i didn't notice she had hots for me all this time? Was i that blind? I got distracted from thinking when i saw Mindy's head through my door.
