Chapter 18

Hailey's pov.
Waking up i turned my head to meet Zeus' face. He was still asleep, his cheek bones were prominent, facial features were relaxed with pout on his pink lips he almost looked adorable. His lashes were near his cheek bones.

How i wish i had his eyelashes so long.

Still eneveloped by his arms i tried to move but with no luck until finally i managed. Taking his shirt and buttoning it i went to the bathroom to freshen up, looking at myself in the mirror i almost had a heart attack due to the fact that my hair was a bird's nest, i had hickeys all over my top half, my skin was still flashed. I was so angry at him with the hickey situation cause of all the make up i have to put on and suddenly my phone rang. Walking to where i had plugged it in i picked it up and answered it,

"Hello Miss, you told me to call you when Don arrived and his at the elevator coming up right now you will be receiving him in the next few minutes."

"Aaah...thank you for that."

Shit! Don is here and Zeus is on my bed i don't know what to do at the moment.

I rashed to my room and woke Zeus up.

"Zeus! Wake up! Don is about to arrive...get your things you have to go!"

"And here i thought that i wouldn't find you here, i guess am supposed to expect anything from you Zeus." Turning i came face to face with none other than Don himself at the door of my room.

"Don! You came early." I said while i felt mypores opening up as sweat started coming out of my forehead due to the fact that i got caught red handed.

"Yes i did Hailey, i was expecting you were already done by now since considering you were supposed to dump him instead of sleeping with him hours after i proposed, but i guess rules doesn't apply to him." He said with a little disgust in his voice.

"You knew."
"Yes.... i did."
"How? When? I...Ithought...I thought,"
"I didn't know? Ofcourse i did...i knew that you were sleeping with my half brother but i didn't bother with it cause i know his just a phase and you love me,that's why i bid my time and proposed cause i knew you would never say no to the love of your life,that's me."

"Mmh"
"Have something to say Zeus?"
"No i have absolutely nothing to add to this madness Don."
"I thought so, cause you lost this one."
"I didn't lose anything you conniving asshole, you ambushed her knowing she won't say no cause she thought you did not know about us." He said getting closer to Don.

"You know what...let her choose huh? Since you are claiming i ambushed her to make matters equal. Okay? Hailey, who do you want... me or him." He said pointing at Zeus.

I stood there in shock, my mind was blank my ears had a ringing to it and took one breathe before I saw ultimate darkness.

Zeus' pov.
What is wrong with him? Why is he being like this? So he knew but went ahead and proposed? He's a sick man.

And before I knew it Hailey was falling to the ground. In shock I rushed to her and held her head.

"Hailey? Hailey wake up!" turning to my stupid brother I shouted.
"Call for a damn ambulance stop standing there like a fucking moron, look what you did asshole!"

Looking at her without seeing her mesmerizing eyes was killing me. I stood up with her in my arms totally panicking because I didn't know what I was doing and rushing straight to the elevator.

"They will be here in two minutes." I heard Don from behind me as I waited for the elevator to get here.

I don't know what am I going to do with out her if something serious is wrong with her. My brother is a fucking moron why would he do that honestly speaking. He is such a douche sometimes.
The elevators finally arrived and I rushed in and awkwardly pressed for the ground button as Don entered as well.

Hailey's pov.

There was beeping in the background my eyes were hard to open and my throat felt like i was living in the Sahara for months. According to me it felt like i was in a room which was just been cleaned by hand sanitizer and it was irritating me. How i hate hospitals.

Finally i managed to open my eyes and pure white walls was what i came into contact with. Turning my head i was met with black hair and a few sounds from outside my door. Moving the person's head moved and was met with the same grey eyes i admire for far too long.

"You're awake, let me call the doctor, don't move." He went outside and came in a few minutes with a tall dark handsome man. 

"Morning Hailey, how is your head?"

"Äm fine doctor" I replied with a little struggle. immediately i was given a cup with cold water and a straw in it and i drank so fast with the thirst i was having.

"So the scans came in, you are recovering very well,"He said looking down on his clipboard as my mind started racing as his facial features started changing from normal to worried. He raised his head from the clipboard and smiled turning to Zeus.

"Is he your boyfriend? because what am about to tell you is private."

"No."

"No."

We both answered at the same time looking at him with slight disappointment because he rejected me again.

"Well you have to leave sir."

He turned walked to the open it, he stopped and looked at me and finally left with a soft thud to indicate he left.

"Well i have good news and bad news."

" I need the bad news first doctor,"

"So from our tests you really injured your head, you have a mild concussion and you have been a little malnourished, have you been sleeping and eating well?"

"No, have been having a lot of changes in my life and work place so that explains the malnourishment and fatigue is that all for the bad news?"

"Yes that's all, The good news is You are pregnant and we are recommending bed rest for 2 weeks. Have prescribed a few vitamins and in two days i would like to see you for your first ultrasound to ensure that the baby is actually fine."

"What...What did you just say?"

"I said that you are pregnant Miss."

"OH MY GOD!"
