Unforgivable

Chapter 6

Entering my office after the long excruciating weekend i decided to get back to work.

"Miss Everton your eight o'clock is here." Mindy said after placing some documents on my desk.

"Fine,send him right in,and close the door please." Typing in my work i heard the door open and close.

"Good morning,Miss Everton i hope you don't mind i brought my brother to the meeting." Don said while moving into the office with his brother.

"No i don't mind Don,i was even wondering when you will introduce us since we are having a deal together." I said while still typing in details to my computer.
Finishing my typing i raised my head to acknowledge them.
I couldn't believe what i just saw, the guy who  i puked at and stayed  the night over was standing right across from me.

What the hell! He's Don's brother? No way! I can see the resemblous with the hair but that can't be true. This is not happening.

"Hailey? Are you alright? You look like you have seen a ghost." Don said making his eyebrows meet each other with concern.

"Huh? No Don, am fine just a little tired, luck of sleep yesternight,take a seat please." I said trying to keep a smile on my face instead of pure shock.

"Thank you,this is my half brother called Zeus,he decided to tag along since I haven't been in work for the past few days and he wanted to know why." He said while smiling at me.

"I would start by mentioning my name but am guessing you already know that due to the endless posts on the media." I said smiling at him.
"I don't really watch the gossip news Hailey,but i promise you if i had known you i would have acknowledged you,you're the kind of woman that i can never forget even after years." Zeus said while smiling at me with a little mischief in them.
Clearing my throat to snap out of the mini trans i was in i looked up and said.
"Let's get down to work shall we?"

"Yes,i have the documents here which he had signed the company he was controling to me,and here is another contract you will have to sign for the new partner ship." He said while placing them on my desk. Taking the one which was for new partner ship i was shocked with what i saw.

"Why am i controling seventy percent of the company?"

"You're controlling seventy percent of the company because you deserve it and am trying to show that there is atleast one of the family members who doesn't want money from you."

"Fine,but are you sure about this because we agreed on fifty fifty split and i hate not going through with my words,but its fine i guess.Don,let me sign it and hand it over to you."signing i handed it back to him and he placed it inside his briefcase.
Standing up he streched his arm and i received it as a gesture to show am happy about the deal. Turning to face Zeus i felt like butterflies decided to exit from the cocoon they were inside and start filling in my stomach.
Blood rushed all the way from my toes to my face making feel like my face was on fire. No doubt by now my face resembles a tomato.
His smile looked mischievous and I started wondering what he was thinking. No doubt he knows his affecting me that much. I streched my hands towards him to say goodbye and he reached for it too.

"It was pleasure meeting you Hailey, i hope we see each other some time soon." He said smiling at him with the shine in his stormy eyes. He tightened his grip and pulled me towards him making my hand touch his chiseled chest,he pushed back my hair behind my ear. He turned his head to my cheek and kissed it he moved his head upwards and bit my earlobe making me release a moan,then he whispered,"goodbye love."
He pulled away smiled and turned to leave.

I released a breathe which i didn't know i was actually holding in.
I sat at my chair again and looked at my computer blankly trying to wonder what just happened.
But one thing came to my mind though.

Man am so fucked.

The day went through smoothly apart from the occasional day dreaming of Zeus.
Even though I promised myself i will never be involved with any man in my life this one is making my head spin and panties wet faster than any guy including Chase as ever made me.

As i entered my apartment i dropped the keys in the bowl next to the door,and went to the kitchen to down a glass of Chardonnay i had bought but never drunk.
As i sat down and switched on the TV i was relieved when i didn't see my face for once on the screen. When i was about to switch the channel i heard my phone ring in my bag. Taking it and answering without looking i placed it on my ear.

"Mindy? Is anything wrong?"
I heard a low chuckle and i knew it wasn't her.
"Who's this?"

"Its Zeus,why did you think it was Mindy? Are you a lesbian?"

"Zeus,she calls me at anytime of the day or night,and no i am not a lesbian Mindy is my personal assistant,why did you think am a lesbian?"

"I thought you were because the last time we were together in my house you were totally against me."

"So that's why you never mentioned your name? I didn't know you were a man of grudges."

"Am not."

"So why are you calling me at 11:00 o'clock?"

"Can't a man just call someone at this time?"

"Okay,since you won't tell me am hanging up i got things to do,bye." When i was i was about to hang up i heard him shout over the phone.

"What Zeus?"

"Can we go out for some coffee tomorrow?"

"No."

"No? Why?"

"Because i know guys like you and guys like you only want sex from a woman like me,if you don't want that then come to my office tomorrow at nine and try to convince me to go for coffee with you,have a good night Zeus." And i ended the call.
My phone didnt stop ringing until i was done with my bath and entered my bed and slept.

This Zeus guy will definitely drive me crazy.

I closed my eyes and i immediately went to sleep.
