Unforgivable

Chapter 12

After arriving to our destination 20 minutes later i couldn't believe my eyes.

"The Onyx? Are you serious? Am surprised you remember this place." I said looking at Don while smiling.

"I can never forget this place after what happened." He said opening his door.

"Are you sure they will let us in considering we caused a public fight and almost burnt the whole place to ashes?"

"Yes they will we paid it off." He said taking my hand to pull me out of the car and locking it.
"But don't worry we are not stepping on that stage we are only watching people sing their butts off as we laugh at them and drink some beer."

"Cool." I said smiling back at him.

The moment he opened the door and let me in first i was captured by the smell of beer and cheap perfume. There was a drunk participant on the stage singing a Taylor Swift song in an off tune tone. We found a table and we sat down and a few moments later a waitress came to take our order.

"So what can i get you?" She said while popping her pink gum.

"We would like a couple of beers and some cheeseburger and french fries." Don said without reading the menu.

"Cool i'll be back in five minutes." She said while eye ogling Don.

"So...how have you been Hailey? I can say am quite surprised that you asked me out on a date."

"Have been good, why are you so surprised?"

"Am surprised because the last time i tried to make a move on you you insulted me and moved me to official basis an earned myself a slap in the process."

"Sorry about that." I said smiling at him.

"Its fine am happy that you decided to start dating again."

"Something is telling me that you don't trust this date of ours."i looked at him while raising my eyebrow.

"Something like that,by any chance are you involved with my brother?"

"What makes you say that?"

"Well i can't help but notice the fact that he constantly gave me the stink eye after you kissed me in my office."

"No,we aren't involved."
Before he could ask any more questions the waitress came back with the drinks and our food and placed them on our table.

"So there is nothing?"

"Nothing at all." I said reaching for a beer at the same time as him and accidentally touching hands,i retrieve my hand instantly while apologising and awkwardly laughing until he looked past my shoulder and stared at something or rather someone.

"What is it Don?" I said turning to look at what caught his eye to be met by those stormy eyes by none other than Zeus'.

This is going to be a long night.

"Did you tell him to come here?"

"What? No! I just told him that i was taking you out at some old place we used to hang out in college and since i introduced him to this place after you ditched me for my cousin i guess he got lucky in guessing where and here he is."

"Oh...sorry for false accusation."

"I think he spotted us he's coming over here." He said keeping a fake smile as Zeus swerved his way to our table.

"Hey,Don so nice to see you here i thought you were taking Hailey out on a fancy five star date considering that you drool over her every time you see her." Zeus said with the look that said he's not pleased by us going out.
