It's a Sunday

A day after i was attacked my arm was aching. There was a black scar where the scratch was. "Why didn't they cancel school already..."  I was in my room resting. I picked up my book and read from where I left off. I started to doze off, eventually falling asleep. I was awakened by my mom who was staring at me with her red eyes. I hate when she does that, it's creepy. "Mom, don't do that!" I complained, she  laughed and said "I'm sorry I couldn't help it. You're too precious when you sleep." "Do you do this every night??" "Nah... only sometimes." I groaned and pulled the covers over my head in embarrassment. "Fine I'll leave, okay?" She got up, left something on my side drawer and left the room.

I looked at the bag she placed on my drawer. I got up and looked inside the bag, there was milk tea in it. She knows me too well... I took the cup and took a sip of it, she always puts a lot sugar, just the way I like it. I got up and walked downstairs where my mom was lying on the couch, watching TV. I walked up behind the couch. "Hi, mom." I drank some of the tea, as she got up and yawned. "Hi Mason. Is your arm okay?" "Yeah. It's fine." "Good to hear." She smiled, showing her fangs. She's a vampire, my dad was a reaper, but I never knew where my dad went. We rarely talk about that though. She realizes that we didn't have dinner yet, so she went to the kitchen. "So, champ what do you want me to cook?" I shrug. "Anything i guess" "I guess I can cook YOU! Ahaha!! Just kidding. I'll make spaghetti, then." "Alright." This is why I love my mom. After mom finished making it, we sat down on the couch and ate.
