Hi there! I apologize for this chapter taking longer than usual. I had work so I didn't have that much time to sit down and write. But I hope you enjoy this chapter anyway. This is a feel good chapter for me. It's mostly focused on the Faulkerson family dynamic. Thanks!

Everyone in the Faulkerson household were worried when Maine puked her guts out during dinner. No one more so than RJ. As soon as Maine came out of the bathroom, he was all over her. Asking if she's ok, if she remembers eating anything different, if she thinks it's a stomach flu blah, blah, blah. She reassured and kept reassuring him that she's ok. She can't really tell him the real reason in front of his family now, can she? She has to talk to him in private first before announcing it to the whole world. So Maine opted to saying she must've eaten something bad at lunch but she also kept in mind not to go near that damn chicken cordon bleu again. This seemed to appease everyone and they went back to eating dinner. Maine busied herself in feeding her son and took small bites of the avocado tangerine salad.

When everyone finished dinner, the men moved to the bar and the ladies cleaned up the dining area and the kitchen. After, Rizza took Sebastian with her to, god knows where in the massive house, to play. Rose then offered to give Maine a tour of the Faulkerson house to which Maine readily agreed.

When she first entered the house earlier, she was fascinated by the decor. On first glance, one can tell that this is a house for the rich. Everything screams of money. However, the most fascinating thing is the family inside. The Faulkersons are very down to earth individuals. Not once did Maine see a hint of arrogance, pompousness or egotism among them. They live their lives like normal folks. And to think that each of the three Faulkerson children is wealthy in their own right. Daniel being a movie producer, RJ being a doctor and Rizza being a business owner.

Rose started the tour upstairs showing Maine the master bedroom (to which the size is massive; like one could play basketball inside massive), then master bathroom (where the tub itself can accommodate 5 people comfortably) and the walk in closet! Oh my god, it's the size of my bedroom. And the shoes? Holy fuck! Did she plan on surpassing Imelda Marcos with her collection? The purses! Holy cow! I could just stay here. Rose then led her to three other bedrooms, not as big as the master bedroom but huge nonetheless. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Rose explained that when they moved into this house, she specifically wanted rooms for each of her children in case they decide to come back or just when they need to stay for a night or two. Maine can see the love Rose has for her kids by the way she talked about them. Then they halted in front of the last room. Rose turned to Maine and said "Iha, I hope you don't mind me and my husband. When we found out that we have a grandson, we went about making changes to this room. Even if at that time we haven't met you or Sebastian yet. When RJ told us of your story, we knew that he has found a home in you. Parents just know these things, you know. Now that we've met both of you, I'm hoping that we all get to spend more time together." And then she opened the door.

Inside, is a toddler paradise. Maine walked into the room slowly and looked around.In the middle is an airplane shaped toddler bed and stencilled on the wall above it, is Sebastian's name. One corner sits a toddler table with matching 2 chairs and beside it stands a bookshelf overflowing with books. On the other side is a play area with variety of toys. Maine went to the bookshelf and noticed that the books were a variety of old and new ones.

"The older ones were RJ's favourite when he was little. We thought his children should get to read them too" Rose explained.

Maine just nodded and couldn't hold back the tears anymore. She sat on the carpeted floor and sobbed. Rose sat down beside her and put her arms around her to which Maine gladly leaned on. When Maine was able to talk again she said "I'm so sorry. I don't know why I'm being so emotional. But these, all these (motioning to the room with her hands) are all too much. I, we don't deserve it. I don't deserve such good people as you are. I kept Sebastian's existence from you for 1 year but as soon as you found out about him, you accepted him without question. I don't deserve RJ. He is such a good person, a good dad to our son. I'm so sorry" punctuated with her sobs.
