Okay, so a reader asked me if I was going to write a sequel for this book and after thinking for awhile I have decided that I will writer 1 chapter. If it gets many votes and I see that people like it and that it would be a cool idea to make a sequel, I will do it.

Don't get your hopes up because I still don't know if I will be doing it. It is all on your hands...

Small draft

It's the end of senior year. I was roaming the hallway admiring all the memories from my past school years. I remember my first conversation with Shane, the day Shane jr. had to come with me to school, when Austin stood up for my friends, among other things.
I was alone since the girls were on yearbook committee while I was on a summer break from the studio. Things had changed quite a bit; my parents had moved to Europe so that they could grow old together learning a culture. It's weird how they left me with my aunt who is always working, yet they made me promise to visit every six months. Austin and the guys went their separate ways after the tour, but they never ceased to call me and I appreciate it. Shawn still has a secret crush on me, but I've made quite clear that I'm with Shane.

"Alex, what are you doing?" I heard a soft  voice say.

As I turned to face the person I found myself staring at my big brother, Austin. I ran into his arms and hugged him tightly.

With tears rolling down my cheeks I sniffled," I missed you."

Hugging me tightly he answered,"Me too, sis."

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well it's the end of school year ,and I haven't seen you since prom so I thought : 'I need to see my little sister'," he said.

"It's not like you call every day and text me every minute," I said sarcastically.

"Hey, I unlimited everything on your phone for that reason. And I also know that the guys text you and call you everyday,"he said.

"All of you need to get some girlfriends," I muttered loud enough for Austin to hear.

"Well, I'm sorry," he said clearly annoyed. "I'll just tell them not to text you or call you."

I pouted," You don't love me."

"I never said that," Austin said defensively.

"Your expressions clearly said so," I said sadly.

"Well, my expressions are really dumb so don't pay attention to them," he said and hugged me.

Now that was my brother. My phone started ringing making me break the hug to answer it.

"Hello," I answered.

"Hey, babe," Shane answered.

"Shane, where are you?" I asked. "I have been waiting for you for like thirty minutes."

"I know ,I'm sorry," he answered. "Practice got delayed."

"No worries," I said.

"I'm actually taking the turn right---," I got cut off for what seem a loud bang and tires screeching.

"Shane...Shane!" I screamed.

Then it dawned on me, "Oh shoot!"

I forgot all about Austin but he followed me as I run out of the building meeting with a huge cloud of smoke.

Tears swelled up my eyes," Shane!"

I screamed his name making my way to the accident.

I found Shane's car upside down and Shane losing consciousness.

I knelt beside his car my knees getting burned with the hot street. My hands bloody caused by touching the broken car glass.

"It was a hit and run with a truck," Shane whispered holding his rib cage.

"Shane, why are you holding your rib cage?" I asked crying.

He took out his hand and reveal a large glass deeply stuck on his skin.

I gasped," Oh my..."

"It's going to be okay," he said to me, but it sounded like if he was saying it to himself.

"I'm right here," I said. "I will catch the man who did this okay? I promise."

Austin was talking behind me with the police saying all the directions and to hurry up.

Shane was slowly going to sleep, but I kept talking to him.

"Shane, do you remember anything?" I asked.

"No,"he winced. "I just saw a truck with a Toyota sign."

Okay so it was like a tow truck?

"Can you get out?" I asked.

"I can't feel my legs and my head feels like it's going to burst," he whispered.

Now that I noticed his legs were badly squished with the steering wheel, he had a cut on his head, his other arm was badly bruised and scraped, and his ears were bleeding.

Soon I heard sirens and the paramedics came and got Shane out. He was unconscious, but as they strapped oxygen masked on his head his eyes fluttered open as if he had still something to accomplish before ,what I think felt for him, dying.

"Alex," I heard him say.

"I'm right here," I said.

"I love you," he answered. "I love with all my heart and I sure thank God that this happened to me and not to you. Because if anything ever happened to you I wouldn't know what to do with my life."

I started crying even harder once I heard that.

"Now tell me Alex," he said. "Do you love me?"

"Yes," I answered quickly. "I love you with all my heart and I will be there for you through every step of your life. I will never leave you behind. Why? Because you, Shane Jefferson, made me fall for you harder than any boy has ever made me feel. I will be with you for the rest of your life because I love you."

Shane smiled with tears in his eyes and let the paramedics put the oxygen mask and wheel him away.

Austin hugged me and I started sobbing sinking into my knees on the process. I have never felt this was; the pain in my heart was unbearable.

"It's going to be okay, sis," Austin whispered stroking my hair.

But something didn't feel right...Why did he tell me that he loved me? Why was it so urgent for him to hear me say 'I love you' back? What was going to happen to him?

I hugged Austin tightly.

"Please take me to the hospital," I whispered. "I want to be with him."

"Of course," he said and took me to his car.

We drove off to the hospital and the only thing passing through my mind was the promise I did to Shane.

I will find the person that did this, I promise.
