Austin's POV

Alex was really injured, yet it didn't help that all of us were crying. Shawn was carrying Alex to the hospital and we were behind him. When we entered a bunch of doctors appeared out of nowhere and started asking us questions and putting Alex on those hospital beds with the wheels on the bottom.

"Is she allergic to anything?" the doctor asked.

"No," I said.

He nodded and started taking Alex's temperature and her heart pulse while the nurses pushed the bed to a room. I started running towards her but a nurse stopped me saying that is was going to be okay and that I didn't need to worry about anything. I had to be worried! My sister is unconscious! I decided it was no good to fight so I went and sat with the others. Bradley looked awful, I mean we were all crying but his expression was a mix of guilt, sadness, depression, and worried.

"Bradley," I said.

He didn't answer.

"Bradley!" I said waving my hand in front of him.

"Huh... what?..is Alex okay," he said standing up as quickly as possible.

"Dude, calm down she is fine," I said resting my hand on his shoulder.

He looked at me and sat down,"Austin I am really sorry, I didn't mean to... it was just for fun."

"Bradley, it wasn't your fault," Shawn said.

"I will never forgive myself," Bradley said.

We all looked at each other and sighed. As I looked to see how Alex's friends were doing I noticed that they weren't there.

Alex's POV

"Beep, beep, beep," was all I heard while I was waking up.

I found myself at a bed in the hospital. Did my brother find me?
I saw a nurse come in and rapidly take my temperature; she said I have been unconscious for two days and that they needed to do some tests. I think the nurse noticed I was insecure with what they were gonna do that she called someone. When I looked to the right I saw Shawn, Austin, and the vamps coming into the room with red and puffy eyes. I didn't know what to do so I started crying, yet Austin still came and gave me a hug and the others came too. The only one that didn't come was Bradley which was weird since he always makes me laugh. I tried to talk but words didn't come out that's when the nurse told me that I swallowed a lot of water and that I could only talk but really low. I told the nurse to leave with the guys but to let Bradley stay because I needed to speak with him. She nodded and told the guys what I had just said. Bradley looked at me and his eyes started watering but I tilted my head in confusion. When they left I motioned Bradley to come closer since I couldn't speak so loud.

"What is wrong with you?" I whispered.

He started crying,"You are okay."

"You didn't answer me," I said.

"This was all my fault," he said.

I wiped the tears of his cheeks with my fingers," It's your fault if you believe it ,yet for some people you are not guilty, Bradley," I said looking at him.

He hugged me," I thought you were going to die, Alex."

"Well I haven't, and what happened to me it's not your fault," I said.

"No?" he said confused.

"It will never be anyone's fault," I said."Tell the guys I'm fine and that I will be out of here soon because I hate hospitals."

He chuckled and left; I realized at that moment that I may think that people don't care about me that much but they actually do. I smiled and fell asleep instantly.

Bradley's POV

As I left the room I noticed that Alex had fallen asleep; I smiled and went to where everyone was.

"Hey," I said.

They looked up eagerly to know what we talked about. I told what Alex told me and they laughed at the last part.

"See, it wasn't your fault," Austin said.

"Yeah," I said.

"Excuse me,"a nurse said."Who is Bradley?"

They all pointed at me.The nurse touched his neck and felt his forehead.

"What are you doing?" I asked weirded out.

"Alex fell into coma right after you left," she said.

"What!" I screamed."No! This can't be."

I started running towards Alex's room but five nurses stopped me telling me that it was going to be alright. I didn't know what to do; I was feeling heartbroken, with a bit of depression, and sad. I sat down on my seat with my hands covering my face. Austin looked at me and sighed. The next day we were still at the hospital, but the doctors told us Alex was going to be alright. We looked at each other and sighed in relief. Austin called Shane and Alex's best friends and told them the news; they were very happy. I just hope that Alex will be okay and that nothing else happens to her.
