Chapter 7 The move

Alex's POV

The bell rang signaling class time. I was super sad. The day went faster than usual. I had to explain to every teacher why I had a puppy with me at school again.

* TIME SPAN*

I watched as everybody left school except me. I was still waiting for mom; I saw a truck that said 'Moving stuff' and my mom and dad were in it.

"Mom? Dad?"

"We're leaving to L.A."

"Now?"

This was too harsh for me.

"I didn't even say goodbye to my friends," I said.

"We'll give you ten minutes"

I ran as fast as I could to the park. I felt tears running down my cheeks; Shane was at the park and so were Alice, Harper, and Rachel.

I ran to Shane and hugged him; he turned around and looked at me worried.

"What happened to you" he said.

"I'm leaving now to L.A.,"I said still crying.

He hugged me and we said our goodbyes. When we finished I went to the girls. When I told them that I was leaving they hugged me and cried.

"Don't worry," I said." I'll make sure I visit."

We laughed knowing I was capable of doing anything. We finished saying our goodbyes, I felt tears sliding down my cheeks and I smiled weakly.

"I'll call you," I said.

"We'll be waiting," they said.

I saw Shane waiting for me at the light post.

"Hey," I said.

"Hey"

"Didn't I say goodbye to you already," I said looking at him.

We were face to face when he said, "Please don't go."

"Shane," I groaned.

"I can't let you go; not after today."

"Hey, I will come back; until then please go on with your life."

He took my hand and looked right into my eyes.

"I love you," he said.

"I love you too," I said.

I saw his eyes getting watery, I never knew he had such strong feelings for me.

"Please don't make this hard."

"Fine," he said smiling at me. "I'll walk you to your car."

"Ok"

We walked towards the truck. I looked at my parents then at Shane.

"Come here," I said.

"What"

"Just come here"

We went to a corner where my parents couldn't see us. I knew he was in pain and that he didn't want me to leave.

"Shane,"I said.

"Alex," he said.

This was to awkward so I went on and kissed him.

SHANE'S POV

"Alex,"I said.

And that is when she kissed me. It felt magical, I never knew she could make me feel like this. I mean I love her but right now it was a lot stronger than love. I felt tears sliding down my cheeks, but I didn't break the kiss.

ALEX'S POV

Shane was crying, but he didn't break the kiss. We both broke the kiss and hugged each other.

"Good bye,Shane," I said.

"I'll miss you Alex and I won't ever love anyone the same as you," he said.

"Shane, don't wait for me"

"Why"

"A lot of things can happen"

We finished saying our goodbyes and I left with my parents to L.A.
