Chapter 20 cabins

It was going to be a great afternoon; Austin said the the girls and I will sleep at one cabin and the boys on the other one. That was okay with me because we had a lot to catch on and probably did not want the boys to hear it.

"But how are we going to do the surprise we had if we are going to be separated?" I asked.

"At midnight we'll do a campfire and do the surprise," Austin said.

"Yeah it's better that way," Shawn said.

The vamps hadn't said anything in a while which was weird.

"Uh guys you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah we're fine," they said.

Bradley's POV

We were so not okay. Austin, Shawn, and Alex don't know a thing of what we're doing. This has been the best trip of our lives and we don't want to forget it so after they do their surprise we are going to stand up and sing "oh Cecilia" then we are gonna grab Alex rise her from her feet and run to the water. It's going to be epic!

Alex's POV

Well, the vamps were weird at that time ,but things got normal after we finished talking. I went to my room where I found Shane jr. waiting for me patiently.

"What are you doing here boy? Got your day off?" I asked in a baby voice.

Shane jr. just wagged his tail and jumped at me; I screamed as I fell and before I knew I found myself on the floor being licked by my little yet big puppy. When Shane jr. decided to stop licking me I went to finish my project. I got that done in about an hour and a half but there were still two hours left before my friends got out of school. I went to Austin's room which apparently everyone was there so we grabbed guitars and started singing and dancing until the time that was left was gone .When it was time to go to Malibu beach I got nervous, really nervous. Basically because it was going to be a night with my friends and the next two days we were leaving like none of these ever happened which was not fair.
When we got to the beach Shane was already there, I think Shane jr. recognized him because he started whimpering. When I let him loose he ran straight to Shane and jumped on him. Shane screamed while the guys and I laughed; when Shane got to escape he went to hug me but I stopped him.

"Oh no, he licked all your face and you smell like dog," I said.

He looked at me confused like he didn't know the girl who was talking to him.

"I'm just kidding," I said while hugging him.

Soon the girls got there and we went to get our cabins. I think they were really beautiful and Austin said they were the best on the beach. We played on the sand and went to the water; we did anything you can imagine you could do at the beach. It was getting late so we did barbecue.
Shane was with me the whole time and we hold hands for a long time. I think we missed each other. When it was midnight the guys did the campfire and came the surprise.

"Look guys we want to make  this night unforgettable so we brought you a little something," I said.

Austin took some bags out and I gave them to my friends.

"Wow," Shane said.

"Yeah, Shane you got a poster with the autographs of everyone including me and a picture of us saying goodbye at the light post," I said.

"Yeah, I remember," he said.

"For you girls you have a poster too with the autographs and you also have a locket with our pictures in it," I said.

"Thanks," they said.

"But that's not all," Austin said while taking out his guitar.

"We are going to give you a little private concert with a special guest," Shawn said.

The vamps, Austin,and Shawn started singing "life of the party" and when the time came I joined in. My friends stayed in awe; they didn't even know what to do when we finished. I gave each one of them our CDs so they could hear me singing with them. Suddenly the vamps started singing "oh Cecilia" and then they rose me from my feet and ran to the water. I started screaming but my friends, Austin, and Shawn were just laughing until Austin saw what was coming. At night on Malibu the currents become strong and fierce but the vamps didn't know that, when they threw me to the water they also saw what was happening I grabbed Bradley's hand but I couldn't hold on and the current took me. I bumped in rocks, logs, and swallowed water but on one hit everything went black. When I opened my eyes I noticed it was day and I was at a rocky surface. My knees were scratched, I think I had a broken rib, and a fracture arm because it hurt a lot.

"Austin!!!" I screamed. "Shawn! Shane"
"Can you hear me?" I said while
touching me forehead.

Oh great it was bleeding. I walked to see if I could find Malibu but I just saw a bunch of palm trees and nothing else. As I kept walking I saw a couple of boys who looked like trouble. I decided to ignore them since I wasn't in a good shape to fight, but they thought I was a good prey.

"Hey, babe," one boy said putting his arm around my shoulder.

"Leave me alone," I said.

"Wow, you look hurt let me check you," the other said trying to raise my shirt.

I slapped him," I am in no good shape to fight but if I have to defend myself I will."

That's when I started feeling light-headed.

"Oh babe calm down," one of the boys said as he kissed my cheek.

I slapped him again,"What do you think you are doing!!!!"

"Oh babe we got to stop fighting this isn't going to work out," he said.

That is when I decided it was better to run even if I had a broken rib or a fractured arm, but since everything was getting fuzzy I didn't have any other choice because I was definitely not going to stay with them. I started running I felt steps behind me but I kept running I didn't stop until I was really far away and jumped inside the river for safety. Biggest mistake of me life!!! I bumped into rocks and logs again and then all went black.

Austin's POV

I haven't seen Alex in twenty four hours. We have been searching for her everywhere and everyone is really worried especially Shane. Shawn said she might have gone through the river that was close to Malibu so we decided to look there. They were a couple of boys who looked like trouble but I asked them anyways.

"Hey, have you seen a girl around here," I said.

"Yeah! We saw a chick earlier and we wanted to date her but she wouldn't let us," one of the boys said.

Shane grabbed one by the neck, Shawn was ready to punch one, and I was ready to fight with the other one.

"First of all she is his girlfriend, second of all she is my sister, and third of all she is our family so where is she before I punch your head off," I said angrily.

"Well, she took off running that way and she looked like she had a broken rib, her forehead was bleeding, her knees were bleeding too, and she looked like she had a fractured arm," one of the boys said.

Bradley looked hurt, he assumed everything was his fault; I went to talk to him.

"It's not your fault you know," I said.

"How can it be not my fault," he said. "I feel horrible."

"Don't worry we'll find her," I said.

We looked for hours until noon but we still hadn't found her. Suddenly Shawn screamed and cried at the same time. When we got to where he was crying and holding someone in his arms. When I looked at who the person was my eyes watered. It was Alex but she didn't look so good she was bleeding from her arm, forehead, and knees, she was unconscious,and she looked like she had broken like three ribs. Shane looked at her and smiled but the smile faded away slowly and turned into a cry.

"What do we do next?" I asked.

"Take her to the hospital," Shawn said.
