Chapter22 The Call

Austin's POV

Well after a couple of weeks Alex got out of the hospital and was now at the tour bus doing nothing because the doctors told her she could not sing or play guitar for a month. My cellphone rang and I assumed it was my manager but I had a real surprise when I answered.

"Hello," I answered.

"Hi, it's your mom Austin," she said.

"Mom!" I shouted.

"Yeah don't scream honey," mom said.

"Sorry sorry," I said.

"So listen I was calling you because they gave us month of vacation and we are planning to go over there," she said."So what city are you guys in."

"Um...Miami," I answered.

"Great see you there tomorrow," mom said.

"Wait mom..." she hanged up.

Great! I wonder what her face will be when I tell her what happened to Alex. I went to Alex's room and find her struggling to play with Shane jr.

"Does it hurt?" I asked

"Yeah a bit," she said.

"Well, mom and dad called they are coming tomorrow," I said.

"What! Do you know what her face will be like when we tell her what happened to me?" She said with tears in her eyes.

We didn't notice that Bradley was standing at the door until he went to Alex.

"You were standing there the whole time weren't you," I said."Austin may you leave for a moment."

"Yeah sure come on Bradley," I said.

"I think she wants me to stay," Bradley said.

"Yes," Alex said.

I went out of the room but I couldn't hear what they were talking about. They talked for about an hour and then Bradley went out the room.

Shawn's POV

So I thought Bradley was in trouble when Alex asked him to stay so that they could talk. Apparently Bradley just told us that Alex's parents were coming to visit and that they still don't know what happened to her.

"Wow, so what do you think their expressions might be when they do find out?" I asked curiously.

"I don't know," said Bradley."But I'm sure they will be asking a lot of questions."

"Duh!!! Dude that is what parents do," Connor said.

"Well yeah," Bradley said.

"Well, who knows what if they don't find out," I said.

"The girl groans when she tries to stand up or do something,Shawn," James said.

"Hey I'm just giving opinions," I said.

"Hey calm down guys," Austin said."We'll figure something out."

Alex's POV

I was at my room trying to figure out what I was going to say to my parents,but that wasn't the problem now the problem is that every time I try to do something I groan in pain because my ribs and all my injuries hurt. The guys are trying to figure something out and I feel completely lifeless not being able to do anything.I heard Austin talking to the guys saying that they would try to figure something out but I don't think that could happen.
I tried going over there but my ribs hurt, I felt dizzy,and I fell back on my bed.

I groaned,"Aaaaw men."

"Why can't I do anything!!!!" I screamed to myself.

"Probably because you have two broken ribs," someone said.

"Who is it?" I said startled.

"It's just me Shawn," he said.

"Oh," I said.

Shawn walked into my room and sat beside me on my bed.

"Look we'll work this out," Shawn said.

"Yeah, how," I shouted.

"I'll help you. Come here," he said.

I moved little by little to where Shawn was, groaning when I felt pain. Apparently going to the other side of the bed was a lot for me because when I got there Shawn had to hold my arm so that I could balance myself.

"See," I said panting.

"Okay so now come here," he said while walking to the other side.

"What?!?!" I said.

"Just do it," he said.

"Fine," I muttered.

So we kept doing this for about an hour in a half and he was saying it would help gain strength and help my injuries heal,but when we finished I found myself in a difficult situation. I couldn't move, I was sore because of the exercise,and I had to take a shower before having dinner.

"Shawn," I groaned.

"What,"he said.

"I can't move because I'm too sore and my ribs hurt more than ever and I need to take a shower before having dinner," I said."And you are going to help me."

"How!"he said.

"Get out of my room," I said.

"Fine," he muttered.

He left my room and I quickly undressed myself and put on my bathrobe and I made sure it was tighten well. I looked at myself on my mirror.

"Nothing is visible...I guess we're good," I said to myself."Shawn you can come back now."

He stepped inside the room and almost screamed.

"What did you do?!?!" He said.

"Well I need to take a shower now help me get up so I can go take one," I said.

"Seriously Alex," he said.

"I have two broken ribs, my arm is fractured or lets just say it really hurts,and my forehead was injured... oh and let's not forget I scraped my knees. So yes seriously help me," I said with tears in my eyes.

"Hey, hey don't worry it'll be alright. Look I'll help you," he said while he kissed my cheek.

Shawn helped me stand up and he walked next to me to the bathroom. I just have one thing to say tomorrow was going to be a messy and confusing day.
