Once home I ran off to Elena and found her walking around with Sequoia.

"Shes gotten good" I smiled as Elena saw me and carefully walked over.

I kneeled down and reached out my arms as she opened hers. I picked her up and she touched my cheek then my necklace, well Alex's.
I forgot to give it back to him.

"Were going for a run to a waterfall, you coming?" Sequoia smirked gesturing to all the wolves behind her.

I nodded and held Elena close to me as we ran through the forest and soon came across a flowing waterfall.
It was a large waterfall tucked away deep in the forest. Under the flowing water was a large water hole. The wolves ran over and started drinking from the water.

"Ba!" Loud sound came from Elena, "Ba ba!" I looked down and saw her reaching for the water.

I set her down and she waddled over to the edge of the water and sat down. I walked over and sat down too as Elena started tapping the water.

I heard rustling around me then saw every wolf turn human, "Whats going on?" I frowned turning to sequoia.

"Human" she whispered and out of the forest walked a single human girl.

She wore jeans with a creamy brown jacket and a sleeveless furred vest.

"It cant be" sequoia frowned stepping forwards "Kayla"

It was strange, she smelt of human but also smelt of wolf.

Her eyes widened when she saw me and Elena. I picked up Elena and stepped back from the water.

"Vampires" Kayla growled

"Its okay, they are here for a reason" sequoia defended

"You've missed a lot thats happened in the past two years" Kale walked over to Kayla but kept his distance.

"I can see" she frowned

"But did you succeed with the plant?" Kale asked

"Yes, I was seen in wolf form though" kayla ducked her head. "There are more humans around the plants source now"

"Thats okay, come we will explain about Rose and Elena" kale smiled then turned wolf.

As we walked back to the den I guess Kale and sequoia explained everything because Kalya walked up to me in wolf form and bowed.

For a moment I forgot why she did, then I remembered Alex and the castle and that I'm actually the queen of Romania.

Being out here, being out in the forest, Im forgetting all about where Im from.

I knew I could go back when ever I wanted but I needed to be here for Elena. I would take her home In a heartbeat if I could, but she still needs the wolf's air in her system.

-

That night we celebrated Kayla's return by passing around a brown bowl with liquid made from the plant.
I was surprised when Elena and I were allowed to have some since we weren't wolves.
After everyone turned wolf and we went to sleep while I sped back home to Alex, leaving Elena with Sequoia.

As the guards opened the doors I could hear yelling coming from the west wing. Alex's voice and an old but familiar voice.

I sped up to the room and saw  a long blond hair girl kissing Alex. I stepped back out of view but I watched on. Alex pushed her away and I saw Celine.

What is she doing back here.

"I can throw you in the dungeons for that!" Alex frowned, his hands were in fists.

"I know you wouldn't" Celine smirked crossing her arms.

"You need to leave, and never come back. I never want to here from you again" Alex stood tall and gestured for the door where he saw me.
"Rose?" He frowned stepping over to me.

"Hey" I smiled stepping awkwardly into the room.

"Great." Celine rolled her eyes and threw up her hands

"Why are you here?" I glared at her and she smirked

"Jesus, Rose, its called a bath" Celine held her nose and flicked her brow at me.

"You need to leave now, no one in this entire castle wants you here" I stood my ground.

"Awh, but you see if Alex's doesn't marry me, war is declared" Celine held her hand on her hip

"Then let there be a war" I snarled

"Rose" Alex mumbled

"Also," I ignored Alex walking over to Celine and in one swift movement I threw her out the window. "Thats for kissing my husband!" I yelled as Celine fell to the ground. Breaking the stone pathway underneath her.
We watched as Celine struggled to get up before speeding off.

I looked up to the night sky and felt Alex's hand entwine with mine.

"Hows Elena?" Alex asked looking down to me.

"Shes good" I smiled keeping my eyes on the stars.

"How are you?" Alex turned me so I was facing him.

"Im fine" I reached up to Alex and kissed his lips.

"Have you fed lately?" He asked gently rubbing his thumb over my cheek.

"Not since, we went last time" I frowned

"Lets go then" Alex smirked and I felt his wind rush past my body as our bodies were lifted off the ground. We flew out the broken window and above the forest.

Soon we settled in the trees above a lurking lynx, it was walking slowly through the trees then jumped up on a rock and laid down. I looked up at Alex and he nodded as his eyes turned blood red. We both jumped down together, Alex held its back and I held its head then we both drunk from the growling lynx. The taste of its blood filled my mouth and satisfied my stomach.

Alex and I let the Lynx go and it ran off into the dark of the forest.
We then walked around for a bit before the smell of fresh paint filled the air. I jumped up into the trees and saw all of Alex's tree paintings. There was heaps now. I saw the one of me in my wedding dress, there was one of me holding Elena with wolves beside me, which I recognised two, Sequoia and Kale. There more was stars, sunsets and sunrises, even coloured clouds also one of me in when I turned into mother nature.

"You must have a lot of free time on your hands while being the king of A country." I smirked sitting down on the same branch were Alex and I almost kissed that first time.

Alex sat down beside me, "You make it sound like a bad thing"

"I was just saying" I smirked and Alex nudged my shoulder

We sat silently for a while, it wasn't the uncomfortable silent but one where everything sorta felt right.
