Little Brother

After mum rested for a few, we returned back home to the castle and mum, dad, little Jesse and Sianne went to bed.
It feels weird for me to say Jesse's name after what happened, but at the same time, its good to have him back.
But I also knew he, and my family couldn't stay, for their life was back home in Australia.

"Can I join you?" Alex's voice whispered

I looked over and saw him standing in the darkness looking down at me.

"Desigur" (Of course) I smiled and he laid down in the grass with me.

"What are you doing? I couldn't hear your thoughts and I was just worried" I saw in the corner of my eye that Alex was looking at me while I watched the stars.

"I was just thinking about my family" I smiled and turned my head to his, Alex's face was so close to mine.

"Da?"

"Da" I smiled and rested my hand on my stomach.

"Tomorrow we should go for a hunt, its been a while and it will do good for Dmirty" Alex smirked and I looked over to him again.

"Elena, you mean and the hunt sounds great" I smiled then kissed Alex on his cheek.

Alex and I talked until the sun rose then got Axel, Venus, Jennifer and Catalina to all come on a hunt.

"No bears today either" Axel smirked

"Fine" I frowned and jumped up into the trees. Over there. I spoke to everyone and they stopped running.

In front of us was a small herd of deer that were quietly minding their own business eating at the grass and bushes. I looked down to everyone and saw them circling around the herd. Two of the deers lifted their heads in caution then ate again. I climbed above the deer I was preying on then all at once we attacked the herd. They squealed and squirmed under our grips, I bit down into the neck of the deer I had and quickly started to drink its blood. It tasted different, a little more tangy. I let go of the deer and it stumbled away. Soon everyone else let their deers ago and they all ran away.
In the distance there was a loud howl and more followed, the noise echoed through the forest and we decided to leave before something started.
I found myself running behind everyone, I jumped up into the trees but missed the branch and fell back to the ground. I stopped running and everyone else continued not noticing me. I flicked my wrists and the wind picked up, I flew up above the trees and into the morning sky.

Where'd you go? I heard Alex's voice in my head

Look up, I replied when I saw Alex standing outside of home. I lowered myself down and Alex smirked up at me.

"Get lost did ya?" He asked as I touch the ground and the wind left.

"No, I guess Im just out of energy" I shrugged stepping up the steps of the castle.

"You alright?" Alex asked walking next to me.

"Da, desigur" (Yeah, of course) I smiled

The guards closed the doors behind us and we were greeted by Sianne, who was walking down the west wing stairs.

"Morning" she chirped

"Morning, how'd ya sleep?" I smiled

"Great, snowy is the best cat to cuddle with" Sianne smirked, "I was just getting some breakfast" she pointed up the stairs to the northwest wing.
