Long Day

Rose P.O.V

The morning had came and our bags were packed and in side the boot of the car. Venus was looking after Snowy and Great grandfather hung with Catalina the whole time.
The trip to the airport felt quick but the flight felt so bloody long and it was long, around 20 hours to be exact. It would be longer if we went on a normal plane but we went on a jet plane that was the same one Sianne, mum, dad and little Jesse flew on.
The pilot said we where to arrive in Australia around 7am tomorrow morning.
We watched the ground as the plane sped up and lifted into the air above the clouds.

I hate sleeping on planes, its so uncomfortable and I don't even sleep anymore so, great..
These plane chairs were comfy but I new I was going to get bored quickly.

I now feel sorry for those before us and after. Why is it so far?
When I very first came to Romania, I don't even remember the plane ride.

"Alex, when you kidnapped me from my home that day, why don't I remember the plane ride to Romania?" I asked looking at Alex and I mist have caught him of guard cause he just muttered out words.

"How did you meet daddy, mum?" Elena asked

"Why don't you tell the story" I smiled at Alex who was still speechless.

"Um, well, you know" Alex mumbled looking between Elena and I, he sighed and poured himself a glass of wine that was sitting in a silver iced bucket. He skulled that down then poured himself another glass and sipped on it. "Your mum and I met In Australia, the place where we are going too"

"Awh!" Elena grinned

"Um I was with my brother Axel a-and, Jesse" Alex frowned

"Are they in Australia still?" Elena asked

"Axel is, Jesse is in the same place where sequoia is" Alex looked up to me and all those memories flooded back. I could feel the tears in my eyes.

"Oh" Elena mumbled

"But where were their watching Rose walk to school on a normal Autumn day, and she was singing Firestone while walking."
I couldn't stop smiling, I forgot I was singing that song, it was my favourite. I don't sing as much as I used too.
"See um, Axel, Jesse and I were sitting in a van then on my mark I told them to het out and we kidnapped Rose"

Elena slowly turned around to me wide eyed and mouthed.

"But don't worry your mum is a brave one, she was not scared, her heart beat remained a constant normal beat but her thoughts were exploding" Alex smirked up at me, "After I slammed on the breaks and Rose got knocked out then we drove to the air port and compelled everyone who saw us not to see you" Alex smiled at me, "I found it quite funny, once we were on the plane you were waking up so I placed a sleeping spell on you and you slept all the way. When we got to the castle, a few minutes after placing you in bed you woke up then you met Jesse, Axel and me"

I wiped under my eyes, I didn't know why I was crying. I was happy and I was crying.

"Thats a strange story dad" Elena grinned then turned to me and frowned, "Why are you crying?"

"I don't know" I huffed out a short laugh.

"Out of all the stories you told me mum, that is now my second favourite" Elena smiled

"Whats your first one?" Alex asked

"Your wedding story" Elena smirked

I looked down at my wedding ring and I finally stopped crying, "That's my favourite too"

20 hours later we finally landed in the Melbourne airport and It felt as if my dead heart was beating so fast. I was full of excitement to see mum and dad.

Elena held my hand as we walked down the stairs from the airplane.
I wanted to run through the glass doors, I but I didn't really want to cause a scene. Just the way Alex, Elena and I look are more than enough.

As I walked past the window I saw the planes reflection but I didn't see ours.

The doors opened and I looked around for mum and dad then I felt arms wrap around me to tightly. It was mum.

"I missed you" I hugged her back, It felt weird speaking English again

"I miss you way more" mum wiped her tears away, "My little girl has grown so much" mum kissed my cheeks then knelt down and hugged Elena as I hugged dad.

"Good to see you"

"Likewise" I smiled

Dad and Alex shook hands but dad pulled Alex into a friendly hug.

"I cant get over how much you've grown Elena! Your a gorgeous young lady" mum grinned

Elena looked up to me with the most confused face, id ever seen.

"Shit" I breathed

"What is it?" Alex frowned

"Elena doesn't know English" I laughed

Mum and dad both looked surprised and Alex started laughing.

"Elena, this is my mum and dad, they don't speak Romanian like we do so Ill translate for you" I said to Elena in Romanian

"Okay mum" Elena smiled

"My mum said before that she cant get over for how fast you've grown and that your a gorgeous young lady" I said

"Tell her I said thank you" Elena smiled

And I did so then Elena gave mum a hug.

"A little disappointed that Sianne's and Axel's not here" I frowned

"Sianne's probably either just waking up or already getting ready for graduation" dad said checking the time on his watch

"What!??!! She's graduating today?!" I almost screamed looking over at Alex, "Your just, amazing" I smirked

"Lets go get ready too" mum smiled

"Ill get your bags" Dad said grabbing mine and Elena's bags, Alex carried his own.

Elena and I walked and talked with mum while Alex walked and talked with dad, I heard them mention Axel and Sianne.
