Territory War

Rose P.O.V

I hated leaving Elena while we prepared for the war against Celine. We had our army and she had hers. All we had to do was let the wolves allow us to fight on their sacred ground.
It must have been the biggest shock to the wolves when they saw us. Maybe I should have told everyone to stay at the border.

All the wolves were growling and kale and Sequoia stepped forwards in human form.

"Please" I tried calming them, "I promise this is not what it looks like"

"What is it then?" Sequoia cut me off, I could see the fear in her eyes.

"War against a woman who wont listen" Alex stepped forwards.

"Why did you come here?" Kale asked, he rarely talked but It was a surprise when he did.

"The area in which she chose was actually on the sacred grounds" I frowned, And they growled; I knew they wouldn't be happy about it.

"No" Kale glared, his stance was strong  and more wolves circled around us.

"If we don't go the war it will be brought into the forest, closer to both our homes" I said standing up for us.

"We accept then" Kale nodded, "But we will be all around the edge of the grounds, no one goes into the forest"

"Thank you" I smiled

"Where's Elena?" Sequoia frowned looking around at our army.

"Shes at school" Alex said

"She's safer there for the moment" I added.

Kale and Sequoia allowed us to move on and all the wolves walked either behind or around us.
The sacred ground was large and no trees grew inside it, just short grass. We all got into position and the wolves hid in the forest, I knew they didn't want any part of this.I could see it in their eyes.

Celine's army appertaining out from the other side of the grounds, her army looked to be around the same size as ours.
Celine stepped forwards and so did Alex and I.

As tradition, no guns or gifts, just swords. Alex spoke aloud in everyone's minds.

"You know Alex" Celine said out loud, in vampire war that was considered rude. "We don't have to fight"

This was your decision Celine. Alex shot back.

"I know but I never wanted it to end like this, all I wanted was you" Celine started stepping forwards, "And all I have to do to get you is to break yours and Rose's bond"

"If you touch her Celine-" Alex growled and Celine stopped walking.

"Oh, I wont, but they will" she wore an evil grin on her face, she looked back to her army and some ran forwards others sped right up to us. We fought back and Alex and I fought out way to Celine. Her army was strong and I noticed that everyone was mostly attacking me.

Alex staid with me, helping me fight everyone off. I hated each minute of it. Watching the blood fly out of their bodies as our swords penetrates their hearts.
I stated to feel wet drops on my face, I wasn't sure if it was tears or blood.

"Its weird how vampires are dead yet to properly kill then we have to stab them in the heart." Celine yelled out, Alex and I looked over to see her just standing behind her army away from the bloody mess, with a sword in hand.

I trudged through the crowd and finally made it out to Celine, I took first swing but she blocked me then attacked straight away.

"Do you know how to break a bond between vampires, Rose?" Celine asked as we battled

"No" I breathed fighting back even harder, I winced as Celine's sword just cut over my cheek. But it simply healed, I remember when I was human, I was much younger and I was cut by a tree branch after I fell from one of its branches. The scratch didn't heal until a few weeks later, but now it just healed in seconds.

"You have to kill their partner" Celine smirked and lunged for me but Alex blocked it.

Alex was at my side and we faced Celine together. I could tell Alex and Celine where talking through their minds by the frown and smile on their faces.

I know Celine wouldn't kill Alex because this is the whole reason this is happening. But to break the bond she'll kill me. Love does stupid things some times.

I turned back to the war behind me and saw they were moving into the forest and the wolves attacked. They were out on the sacred ground ripping the heads off the warriors. I saw Sequoia who was running up to us, "No" I whispered but she didn't listen. Celine knocked Alex's sword out of his hands after looking at me. Celine's sword pierced right through Alex's chest.

"Alex!!" I screamed, he had been stabbed. Blood spilled from his chest and Celine twisted her sword and Alex  screamed in agitating pain. I lunged for Celine but Sequoia got to her first. She pushed her to the ground and aimed for her head.
Alex pulled the sword from his chest and looked over at me, he had tears in his eyes but a smile on his lips.
I heard a loud squeal from sequoia and Celine and saw Sequoia laying on the ground life less and Celine walking over to me. I listened to sequoia's breaths but they were so light.

I held up my sword and Celine ran at me, I swung my sword at her but she kept speeding around me. One, appear, two, appear, three, appear, four, dead. Celine screamed as my sword was inside her chest through her heart. I pushed my sword deeper into her heart and She reached out for me but dropped to the ground life less.

I heard explosions from behind me and saw all her men exploded into black pieces, almost like glass breaking.
Our men stood still in fighting mode just a little confused.

I knelt down beside Alex and held his head up to mine, he was kneeling down holding his chest.

"Alex" I muttered and he looked at me with sad eyes and smiled.
