Wolf Pack

The child stays?!
"What?" I removed my hand and stepped back, "No"

"We have to, she has the poison in her body." The wolf girl frowned standing up next to Kale.

"How long?" I frowned holding Elena closer

"With children, the time changes. Could be only a few hours, days or up to months" the wolf girl explained and just like my heart dropped for Rose my soul dropped for Elena.

I was speechless, this is crazy.

"If it comes to a longer period of time, we will tell Elena, everyday, about you and Rose. That I promise as alpha" Kale nodded

I held Elena out to the wolf girl and she took her and held her close. I picked up rose in my arms bridal style then sped home, not looking back.
I ignored every voice in my head as soon as the castle doors opened.
I quickly laid Rose down on our bed and locked the doors. I walked over to the window looking out through the trees. In range and anger I smashed my fists on the glass and it shattered under my skin, most of the glass fell out hitting the ground far below, some pieces fell into the floor around me.

I turned back to Rose and slid down the window so I was sitting on the ground. Resting my arms on my legs I tucked my head down and let all my emotions finally come free.
Tears rushed from my eyes and my chest felt so tight.

Why did this have to happen to us.

"Alex?" Rose muttered from the bed, she was sitting up looking worriedly down at me. "Why are you crying? Im not fully dead yet dummy" she smiled walking over to me. I heard the glass crush from under Rose's shoes. "Why is the window broken?" She asked stepping back.

"I smashed it" I wiped my tears away.

"Why?" Rose crouched down in front of me.

"When we went on the hunt you drunk from the deer that ate some poisonous plants. Then you went in labor early and now Elena is sick and has to stay with the wolves" I spat out looking anywhere but her.

"Wait, what?!" Rose held her hand over her mouth, "You cant be serious!!" She rose her voice, I could see tears in her eyes.

"I am, Im sorry Ro-" I mumbled under my breath

"No" Rose cut me off then walked for the door, she jiggled the handed then unlocked them.

"What are you doing?" I asked standing up stepping on the broken glass shards.

"Im going to see my daughter" Rose frowned then in a blink of an eye she was gone.

I chased after her and snatched her wrist just as she started running down the castle stairs, "Then what? Bring her home? Still sick with the possibility of her dying?!"

"I'll stay with her if I have to" Rose yanked her wrist out of my hand.

"What about home? Being a queen, my queen? Its your duty"

"To what?! Sit in hour long councillor meetings every three days, have royal balls were you talk to people you never see besides at the ball. Letting people do everything for you and never doing anything for yourself!"

I was speechless, again. I never knew she felt that way.

"Thats all what I wanted, but right now I just want to be with my daughter" I watched as tears started to fall from Rose's glistening eyes.

I stepped down to a step above Rose then leaned forwards and kiss her forehead, "Ill stay here for the castle" I said walking back up a few steps, "You go to Elena"

Rose's face softened and a small smile crossed her face, she ran up the stairs to me then kissed my lips, "Ill see you soon" Rose smirked then sped off into the forest.

I walked back inside and the guards closed the doors, I guess they heard all of that and I guess everyone heard everything.

I looked over to my right and saw my mother, Axel and Sianne.

Rose's P.O.V

I felt bad leaving Alex, I felt bad about everything.
I can't believe this happened.

I jumped up into the trees as I reached the wolf territory, I moved faster then ever before in the trees.
I saw a few wolves under me and they saw me, I could hear their howl as I followed the strong smell of dog.

I heard more howls from in front of me then I saw some wolves running under me.

"Good to see your well, Rose" I heard a females voice and recognised it to be the wolf girl who attacked me, then Alex.

I came to a standstill as a large rock mountain sat in front of me, there was wolves sitting on the ledges on the wall and some walking around watching me. There was a large dark hole at the far side of the rock and there stood the wolf girl holding something wrapped in cloth. By the way she was holding it and gently shaking her arms I knew it was Elena.

"Come meet her" she spoke up to me

I jumped down from the trees and landed a few meters from the girl. I stepped forwards and she held out Elena. I grabbed her in my arms and it felt like everything was better again. She was the most beautifulest baby, pink cheeks, blue eyes, dark brown hair, tiny little button nose and little ears. Elena reached out her hand to me and I held up my finger which she grabbed, "Hey baby" I whispered, "Its your mum"
Elena smiled and shook her arm, shacking my finger.

"Has Alex told you?" The girl asked

I looked up to her and nodded, "And if its alright, I want to stay here with her"

The girls eyes widened and I heard a few growled from around me. A large jet black wolf walked up next to the girl and changed into human form, it was strange to watch yet satisfying.

"This is Kale, our pack leader the alpha" the girl said looking up at Kale, he was almost a head taller than her. He had jet black hair, dark eyes, tan skin and wore ripped jeans and a wool sleeveless jacket over dirty blue shirts.

"You can stay, but only on the condition that you live like us and if you want to hunt you go back to your territory" kale said, his voice was deep and stood stiffly

I nodded then looked back down at Elena, "I will"
