After greeting his half-siblings, Saige decided to explore, since he had not yet explored the Edenian forest. Edenia's beautiful. A LOT better than Earthrealm. Saige thought to himself. Suddenly, Saige heard footsteps behind him. He turned around and saw Skarlet. "Hey, Skarlet. Haven't seen you in a while." Saige said to Skarlet. "Saige, don't act like you didn't notice me earlier." Skarlet responded. "Alright, I noticed you. Did you notice me?" Saige asked Skarlet. "Yes, I did, but I wanted to talk to you away from everyone else." Skarlet told Saige. "Well, can we talk later? When I know Zero isn't stalking me to take me by surprise?" Saige asked, hoping Zero wasn't listening in on him. "Yeah, why not?" Skarlet said, then started walking back to the castle. As Saige walked deeper into the forest, he heard a noise. He turned around, but saw nothing. Just an animal, Saige. Saige told himself. He turned back around and started walking again. Suddenly, someone jumped on Saige's back and sliced him diagonally up from his lower right side to his left shoulder. Saige screamed in agony, then saw an all too familiar figure holding a bloody butterfly knife. "K-Kano..." Saige said before blacking out.
