Samara headed to the war room in the castle, but as soon as she stepped into the war room, 2 Edenian guards blocked her. "Samara, we can't let you go any further." One of the guards said. "Lieutenant Samara, to you. Now, open the portal to Outworld." Samara instructed. "Samara, we can't let you-" "That's an order!" Samara interrupted the guard. The guards opened the portal to Outworld and Samara jumped through. She immediately started searching for him, then remembered where he hid most of the time: The Kuatan Jungle. Samara immediately teleported to the jungle. Suddenly, a figure jumped from the trees and kicked Samara from behind, knocking her over. "The spawn of Liu Kang!" Reptile said while uncloaking. "The murderer of my friend!" Samara said back. Reptile rushed Samara, but Samara was too fast, hitting Reptile with a Lunge Kick, knocking him back. Samara summoned her masamune and rushed at Reptile, but Reptile spit some of his acid, burning Samara's eye. Samara screamed in pain, then Reptile grabbed her by the head and headbutted her. "You will now join Gem in the Heavens!" Reptile said to Samara. "You're going to join the rest of your race in the NetherRealm!" Samara retaliated, then grabbed Reptile using her telekinesis. Samara tossed Reptile into a pile of bricks, then took out her masamune. Reptile tried to grab Samara's head with his long tongue, but Samara caught the tongue and sliced it off with the masamune. Reptile started vomiting acidic blood, but Samara wasn't done. Samara picked Reptile up using telekinesis and used it like a vice to slowly crush Reptile. Reptile screamed in agony, but Samara kept crushing him slowly until he finally stopped screaming. As Reptile lay on the ground, dying, he let out a smile. "Killing me... does not change... the fact that... Gem... is dead." Reptile said before taking his last breath. "That was for you, Gem." Samara said while pointing to the Heavens.
