"Today, we are going to attempt to end this war! For months, we have been victims, some of our civilians murdered, but today, it ends! Some of us may not survive this battle, but we fight to the end! We are Edenians, and we will never surrender!" Kitana announced, causing a loud cheer from the many soldiers ready for battle. Saige, Skarlet, Stream and Samara then headed to their rooms to get their gear. Saige was about to put on his leather gear, but saw an outfit lying on his bed with a note attached to it. The note read: Saige, this outfit was meant for my son before he was killed. Since you are the closest thing to a son I have, I believe you shall wear it. Sincerely, Master Hasashi. Saige decided to wear this outfit instead of the leather outfit, showing his respect of Master Hasashi. Saige attached all of his weapons sheathes to the outfit, then put the weapons in the sheathes. After a few minutes, Skarlet walked into Saige's room. "Saige, that you?" Skarlet asked, noticing Saige's change in outfits. "Yeah, of course." Saige replied, surprised Skarlet didn't recognize him. Suddenly, Skarlet rushed to Saige and hugged him. "I can't lose you. You're the only one who's ever loved me." Skarlet then lowered her mask to kiss Saige and Saige kissed back. The 2 walked out of Saige's room and headed to the war room. They were the last ones there. "Saige? Skarlet?" Kitana was about to ask where they were, but Saige already had his answer: "Just gearing up. I had to put on this new outfit because Master Hasashi sent it to me." "Sure about that? Sure it wasn't for other reasons?" Samara asked Saige, curious. "Samara, shut up!" Saige retaliated. "This is our final battle. We must defeat the Brotherhood of Shadow!" Kitana announced. Saige opened the portal to the NetherRealm. We will win. Saige said to himself.
