Chapter 31

Tarah POV

We were getting ready to leave the locker room when Adam walked in

"You aren't suppose to be in here" said Charlie

"I want to be here....guys I know I've been a jerk, the varsity made me do this stuff and if I didn't I would get in trouble...I don't want to play with those jerks, I want to play with my team...the Ducks..so will you all please forgive me?"

It was silent for a minute, I couldn't resist but to go and hug him, I have missed him so much

"I've missed you" I said quietly in his ear

I looked at everyone and they all shook there heads with a smile, Charlie looked at him and put a small grin on his face and came in for a hug

"I'm so glad we are a team again" Said Connie coming in for a group hug

"Alright team lets go" said Orion

We walked into the ice and Riley, Scooter and Cole skated up to us

"Wrong jersey Banks" said Cole

"Look, you had it lucky last time, you had one of us...Banksie" said Charlie

"Keep him, he didn't have the heart of a Warrior anyways" said Riley pushing his way threw us

"Alright team lets go, think defense"

"Gooooooo Ducks!" said everyone leaving the huddle

"Let's get in the game Charlie" I said hitting his head

"Let's do it Charlie" said Adam

There was 30 second left in the game, Adam was racing down the ice with the puck while Charlie and I were pushing players over....we got down to Adam and he passed it to me and I shot and scored!

I looked at the clock and the buzzer went off, we won!

Charlie raced over to me and gave me a huge hug

"Good job T!" he said

"You too Charlie!"

We raced over to the team and Charlie was looking up at someone, it was Bombay..I walked over to Charlie and I waved at my..dad

Someone picked me up and flew me around

I let out a scream and it was just Adam

"Good job Boo!"

He kissed me and I kissed back

I felt a tap on my shoulder which broke Adam and I's kiss..it was Bombay

"I'm proud of you Tarah" he said smiling

"I love you dad"

I gave him a hug and he kissed me on the forehead

"Go have fun" he said laughing

I smiled and went to celebrate with the team

That night we all went out to celebrate

"Team, I'm glad we are all together again" said Adam standing up

"Guys, let's not get split up again" said Dwayne with his cowboy accent

My phone buzzed and it was Bombay

"Excuse me, I have to take this"

I got up and walked to the bathroom
