I looked at his uniform that I had been to flustered to notice before.

It was a dark blue color, darker than navy, with gold trimmings around the collar and bottom. It was buttoned up, also had gold buttons, with a vertical gold stripe going from his shoulder to the bottom of his jacket on both sides.

On his shoulders were epaulettes that were gold. However, he did have a splash of color with the red sash that had his family crest on the top, yet again in gold.

"Are you just going to stare?" He asked when we turned a corner.

"No, if something were to happen I'd like to be able to find the person who's dragging me into this." I responded looking back in front of me. He hummed a response before patting my arm.

"I will warn you. Most nobles are actually really nice and helpful." He whispered in my ear before stopping.

"But some will not be happy with the fact that I am about to escort a commoner." He looked me in the eyes with caution.

"You need to stay close to either me, or the other princes because those nobles... They will do anything to be in your shoes. ANYTHING."

I nodded my head in understanding not breaking eye contact. "I understand."

He nodded his head before straightening himself and holding out his arm again.

"Good, shall we continue or are you going to back out?" I looked up at him with a smirk.

"I'm not scared of them." He chuckled as I rewrapped my arm around his and began to walk again.

"You're far braver than you can understand right now." He muttered a small smile gracing his face. We managed to finally get outside where a limo was waiting with the others already inside.

"Took you long enough!" Jac said from where he was slumped in the corner.

"Sorry..." I responded sliding in to the nearest empty seat.

"Oh Isabelle! You look lovely dear!" Dimas swooned over me since my seat was right next to his.

Alexei slid in next to me and closed the door. Now, the most uncomfortable thing in the world is being squished in by two guys, try two ROYAL guys. We sat in silence as the limo driver began to drive. The three women glared at me when they noticed all four men had been only paying attention to me the past few hours.

Before long the men started to talk about politics while I was being glared at.

"So, Isabelle, I noticed you had an accent. Where are you from originally?" Ankor asked trying to avoid conversation about his economy.

"I-um... I have family from Czechavani, I guess it rubbed off on me." I chuckled nervously while I rubbed my scar.

"Really? Then what's your take on the revolution?" Dimas asked leaving me wide eyed and scared.

"I-I don't really have an opinion. Both sides are wrong and right." I responded looking out the shaded window.

"Really now? Both sides are wrong and right?" Alexei asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes. It's wrong that the Vitsins were given immediate power just because the had a male heir. It's wrong that the Romonofskis started the violence. However, they had a reason to be mad and fight back. Just like how the Vitsins were right to defend themselves."

I responded looking into his blue eyes. He squinted his eyes at me as if trying to understand me before nodding his head.

"I see." He muttered ending the conversation.
