Still Alexei's P.O.V.
I paced my office as the phone rang over and over again. "Isabelle!" A voice shouted over the speaker-phone taking me by surprise."No it's Alexei, where's Isabelle?" I heard a huff of annoyance on the other side of the phone.
"Well your royal assiness, I don't know. She told me to meet her at the airport at 8 o'clock this morning, but she wasn't there. I even checked with some of the flight attendants, but no one that matched her description was on the flight."
I sighed. Good, she was still in Czechavani. "Thank you. I'll call you as soon as I find her." I hung up before he could start yelling at me and began to do some research.
I needed to find her.
"Your Highness?" Vlad entered the room with a short man wearing a security uniform behind him. "Yes, what is it?"
They both walked further in and bowed before continuing. "It appears that this was the last man to see Miss Isabelle before she left."
I looked at him and studied his round frame. "I'm sorry Your Majesty! I didn't think that it was that big of a deal. I thought that she just wanted to have some alone time out in town, if I had known that she was running off I-"
"What did you do?" I asked to stop him from rambling on a useless apology. "I called a taxi to come pick her up, I realize now that it was rather stupid of me to do."
I sighed with a small smile. "What was the taxi's number?" He scratched the back of his neck thinking long and hard.
"221 if I remember correctly." I nodded my head as Vlad escorted him out of the room.
I sat at my desk and search the taxi's route, when I found it I was absolutely confused. "It dropped her off in front of the airport... Then why didn't she get on the plane?"
Vlad didn't have a chance to answer as I grabbed my coat and rushed out of the door and down the hall. "Tell the driver to get ready to drive me to the airport!" I shouted as I stormed into my room.
I wasn't going on a man hunt in my pajamas.

We drove up to the airport a couple hours later. I jumped out as soon as the car stopped and stormed inside. As soon as I saw the security room I barged in. "Move, or I will force you to." Of course all of the men recognized me and moved out of my way.
Vlad entered the room a second later and began to type on the computer. "According to our front gate security watch man, she should have arrived here anytime between 9:30 and 10:30."
I sat in a chair behind him and watched some of the footage.
Half an hour went by and I was getting tired of watching all of the people on the camera.
"Vlad this is-"
"There she is!" He stopped the tape, allowing me to see the girl we've been searching for standing in front of the building.
She just stood there for a couple of minutes before turning around to look at three men.
They talked for a moment before she began to walk away, as she did however, two of them grabbed her arms while the other grabbed her suitcase and forced her into the car.
"This just gets better and better." I swore under my breath as I walked out the building.
Now I was pissed.
How could I have allowed that to happen to her? If I had just stayed calm, then we would still be at the fortress. She would be reading in the library while I worked on some paperwork.
Or we could've walked in the garden together, and held hands like so many other couples would have.
If I didn't judge her so quickly then she would still be here, I could have been holding her in my arms as we discussed our differences like civilized adults.
Instead I sent her away and now she's somewhere in Czechavani with three men, whom I at least, don't know. Anything that happens to her is my fault.
All because I couldn't see past her name.
The car ride back to the fortress was spent in silence. Vlad didn't dare speak a word while I was so deep in thought. No, he'd rather keep his head attached to his shoulders.
It wasn't until I exited the car that I felt the gravity of the whole situation.
"Where is she Alexei?" Maria ordered as soon as I walked through the door. "I don't know."
"Alexei, don't give me that crap I want to know where Isabelle is I want to know now." She stepped in front of me blocking the path to my office.
"You want to know where she is? Well so do I. All I know is that she's somewhere with at least three men that stole her from the airport. Now if you'd please, I'd like to track down those men before it's too late."
I pushed past her and entered my office, the door slamming behind me. I heard muffled voices outside my door for a minute or two before Sofia burst through the doors.
"She's been what?!" I sighed and rubbed my temples. All of this was escalating quickly into one big problem.
"She's been kidnapped." I snapped back as I began to pull up footage from the traffic cameras.
"Why are you so calm about this she could be-"
"Sofia, I am not in the least bit calm. All that is running through my head right now is 'You ass. You better find her because this is all your fault.' So if you'd please excuse me, I'm trying to find her." I raised the volume of my voice, not to a yell, but certainly loud enough to get my point across.
"I understand." She backed out of the room with a face full of rejection and closed the door.
Great, now my own family hates me.
