Amber woke up in her bed, even though she couldn't remeber falling asleep in it. Actually, she couldn't remember going to her room at all. Scratching her head, she looked down at the shirt she was in.
It wasn't her either, but oddly familiar.
Oh God damn it, she thought. The shirt belonged to Matthew. Amber noticed his suitcase in the corner of the room. He was obviously planning on staying there for a few days, and Amber honestly didn't mind it. She decided to leave the room and made her way into the small kitchen.
Amber was greeted by the sight of a shirtless, black haired man, leaning above the stove, making waffles, while his grey sweatpants hung dangerously low on his hips.
"Good morning stranger," she said, looking over to the waffles he was now putting on her plate.
"Thanks for letting me stay," he replied with a small smile. All Amber did was nod.
Suddenly, the door that Ellie forgot to lock opened with a loud bang, revealing a worried and slightly sweaty Emeraude.
"Em? What are you doing here?" she asked before rushing to hug one of her best friends. Em was warm and smelt like chocolate.
"Well, some of you couldn't be bothered to answer a singe call, so I had to get my cute little ass here and check for vital signs for any of you," Emeraude said, smiling smugly.
"Hey, where's Dominic?" Amber asked, remembering that she heard his voice the night before.
Actually, it might be the only thing she could remember.
"He drove Ellie to school."
"With what?"
"Taxi?"
"Sure."
"Hey, Dom likes them."
"No one likes something like a taxi, Matthew!"
"You guys need to get married, but that might be a disaster," Emeraude commented, biting her lip, but then smiling like a creep.
"No way!" they both exclaimed, turning their attention to their friend, that was currently laughing like an idiot.
"Oh but you will, one day my friends."
