"What the hell is this?" He yelled once he realized I had entered the house.
"That's the divorce papers." I said
"Yeah but why?" He asked.
"Are you really asking me that question." I laughed.
"Don't play with me Chanel." He said harshly.
"I know that you've been sleeping with Cassie." I said and he grew quiet.
"Why are all your clothes and cars gone? Where's Rose?" He asked frantic at the realization that I was leaving him
"I had some moving vans come last night and get all my stuff and as for Rose she's with my mother." I said.
"You can't keep her from me." He snapped.
"Relax, the custody agreement is on page six just signed the damn paper." I said harshly.
"But I love you." He plead.
"Don't insult my intelligence and you had the nerve to buy that bitch the same necklace as me." I said angrily.
"I'm sorry." He said.
"If you love me sign the papers." I said and he did.
"Please don't leave." He said.
"You are pathetic." I said as I drunk the rest of his tequila and I left out of the house.
I dropped the papers off at the lawyers office and then I drove to Cris's house where my mother was babysitting Rose.
"Hey sweaty are you okay?" she asked as I sat across from her at the kitchen table.
My mother was the only one I told that I was divorcing Gareth.
"Yeah, I'm fine I am just glad you were here to help." I said giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"What are two of my favorite ladies talking about?" Cris asked entering the kitchen from upstairs.
"I divorced Gareth." I said bluntly.
"What happened did he cheat on you?" Cris asked growing angry.
"No, we just grew apart." I sighed and I lied but mostly to protect Cris.
I knew if I told him he would go right over to Gareth's house and beat the crap out of him which is what he deserves.
"Oh well I'm sorry." he said hugging me.
"Its okay." I said shrugging my shoulders.
"Do you need a place to stay you can always crash here?" Cris asked as he cooked us breakfast.
"Just for a little bit, I'm gonna find a place soon." I said giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Whatever you need just don't hesitate to ask." he said.
Breakfast was ready so I went upstairs to get Rose and Jr.
I found them watching cartoons together.
"Jr, its breakfast time!." I said excitedly and he rushed downstairs and I picked Rose up in my arms and I just hugged her so tight.
"I love you." I said repeatedly and before I knew it tears were falling down my face.
"Are you alright, I came to see what was taking you so long?" Cris asked as he entered the room.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said wiping my tears.
"Let me take Rose, its clear you need a minute." he said taking her from my arms and leaving the room and closing the door.
After I gathered my thoughts I headed downstairs to eat breakfast with my family. I checked my phone and Cassie and Gareth were constantly calling and sending texts.
"Tomorrow I'm going to get my number changed." I said to Cris.
"I have a brand new Rose Gold iPhone 6s Plus that I haven't opened that you can have." he said as he feed Rose.
"Ok yeah sure Ill take it." I said shrugging my shoulders.
"Its upstairs on my nightstand." he said and I headed up to go get it.
Cris's bedroom was too big for one person, but he already knows that.
I walk around the bed to his nightstand and there sitting beside the phone is the last thing I expected.
"I didn't want you to find out this one." Cris said entering the room behind me.
