Nagising ako sa sikat ng araw na nakatapat sa mukha ko. This is what I love about mornings, yung pakiramdam na contented ka sa tulog mo. Edi ang sarap gumising araw araw. I reached my phone and dialed Ate Linda and told her not cook anything for me. Feel ko mag luto ng breakfast ngayon dahil kahit papaano eh nakatulog naman ako ng maayos. I laid down for another minute and checked my facebook before making my way out of my room.

I walked down the stairs at sinalubong ako ni Zach, a toy poodle. Chace gave him to me on our 8th monthsary.

"Hi baby Zach, where are you last night? nagtatampo ako ha hindi ka sa kwarto ko natulog" I patted his head before pulling him into a tight hug

"Arf! Arf!" sabay dila sa mukha ko, I can feel his tail wiggling signaling me that he's down to play. Aba maganda din ata ang gising netong isang to.

"Ma'am- ay uhh.. Scarlet ano po ba lulutuin mo? para maihanda ko na" narinig kong sabi ni Ate Linda, habang hawak hawak yung mga plants na itatanim sa garden ko.

"No It's okay. don't worry about me, ako na maghahanda. gawin niyo na po yung gagawin niyo" I smiled at her and she smiled back at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad papunta sa garden.

Naglakad ako papunta sa kitchen when I felt my phone buzzing. I reached my phone through my pocket and saw Paul's name on my screen

Ate nagbasketball lang ako with my friends. I want my breakfast when I get back ha. Thank you in advance! 😘

Aba kailan pa to natutong lumabas ng hindi pa kumakain? Humanda to sakin!

Oh, nag breakfast na ko pero milk and 2 toasted bread lang. I want a real breakfast. I can see your facial expression from here. Don't be mad. See you later.

Hay. Akala ko wala manlang kinain tong ugok na to eh. Binulsa ko yung phone ko at inihanda yung mga ingredients sa pagluluto nang marinig kong may nag doorbell.

"Ako na ang magbubukas ma'am" sagot ni Ate Linda na tumatakbo papunta ng gate

"Hi letty" pang aasar na boses ni Margarette

"Yuck!!" alam naman nilang ayokong tinatawag ako ng ganon

"What's for breakfast?" tanong ni Samantha

Aba at halos makompleto nanaman ang mga bwisita ko, wala lang si Christine dahil nag bo-boy hunting sa mall ngayon. Kakaiba talaga yon.

"I think I'll just go with Grilled Breakfast Burrito and Chia Breakfast Parfait" sagot ko habang inilalabas ko parin ang mga ingredients na gagamitin ko

"Anyway, where's your handsome little brother?" tanong ni Bea

"He's playing ball with his friends. He'll be here before I finish cooking" I smiled at her while starting to fry the potatoes.

"So Paul, junior ka na wala ka paring nagugustuhan sa school?" tanong ni Marg while eating her Grilled Burrito

"No. I mean, there are lots of hot girls in our school but I don't think na magugustuhan ko sila" Paul answered her question while eating his burrito

"Why not? Hindi ba ayun naman ang gusto ng mga guys now a days" Singit ni Sam

"Not worth my time" Paul answered with confidence

That's my brother! He knows whom to give his time. It's true that he's already in his Junior Year but until now wala parin siyang nagugustuhan. Besides, he's still a little boy for me even though I'm only 1 year ahead of him. 2 years nalang mag cocollege na siya, mas maraming babaeng naghihintay sakanya doon. Not to mention his good looks and sense of humor. Who wouldn't want to be with him in the future?

"Anyway ate, JS prom na next week. your last prom it is"

"And your first prom" I say, while finishing my meal "Sino ang isasayaw mo?"

"No one" before drinking his glass of water

"OH COME ON!" sabay sabay na sabi nila Samantha, Bea, at Margarette.

"Impossibleng wala Paul, bakla ka ba?" tanong ni Samantha

And without an answer, Paul stood up and walked away, "I'll be upstairs ate. If you need anything just knock on my door"

"Sure" I smile

"Ang sungit talaga niyang kapatid mo no?" Tanong ni Bea na natawa naman ako

"Boys don't share their thoughts and secrets with Girls" I smiled and called Ate Linda to clean up the table "Mall today, girls?"

"Sure, sundan natin yung bruhang si Tine na hindi nagyaya. Malay mo ang dami pa lang gwapo sa mall ngayon tapos sinasarili niya lang" Sagot ni Samantha na ikinatawa nalang namin.
