Chapter Thirteen: Concert

I reached college on time before bell rang and sat beside Nelly. Finally I had good girly talk to Nelly since last week.

After theory,physical lectures of eight hours and announcement of test on both of that in next week we were released.

I was waiting in class to get empty so that I can talk to Shawn, he said he won't be able to take my personal lectures for next few weeks because he would be engaged in exam arrangements and even lower grades also have their tests so he would be busy for almost two-three weeks, he also added that he's expecting highest rank from me. I said assured him my best performance and left.

Alex was patiently waiting for me above stairs looking down, "what are you doing here?" I asked him from behind.

"Nothing, just wanted to accompany you."

"Oh," I said looking around, whole place was empty, its 8:20pm of Friday what do I expect and there is only ours and two more class which are on weekends this late. Other classes end by 2pm.

"Krista?" Alex called for my attention as my eyes met him,he continued, "whats going on between you and that Alpha?"

"What do mean by what's going on?"

"That day you kissed him and then you are friends with him on Facebook and he's giving likes, comments on your photos and everything that you're tagged/shared."

"I didn't even knew that Alex and there's nothing going on, besides I don't need to explain you anything, cause it's non of your business," I snapped. What's wrong with him? Acting so protective? He knows I don't like him that way and won't be doing any soon.

"Krista you're misunderstanding, the thing is he's a werewolf and I am concerned for you. That's all" his tone low and serious.

"You mean to say he has some kind of trap for me? You kidding me or what Alex?" I gave mocked, "I don't think so! He's just fascinated with me," I replied him what I really think.

"I hope, but It could be Krista!" he's still not leaving the track, now its really too much.

I stopped before parking entrance, "to remind you: first, I am not a kid or some bimbo whose advantage can be taken. Second, the question is what will he gain out of all this? we are not enemies anymore Alex, grow up man! we don't give a damn what other is doing!" I yelled at him in low voice so that I'm not creating scene.

"Please...... I am just asking you be careful. That's all!" he yelled back and left in vamp speed. I followed him in faster speed and made him stop by abruptly landing in front of him. He has got daring to turn away from me?? From princess Krista huh? That really ticked me off yet I kept my calm cause he's too way concerned about me so need to try and understand him.

"Alex now don't act grumpy and throw tantrums like kids, let's go everyone would be waiting there in parking," he didn't say anything, so without waiting much for his reply I dragged him to parking. Mia(his sister) asked what was wrong with him, he changed the topic.

"Babe, how was meeting?" I scooted beside Nelly to ask her about meeting with council this morning.

"Everything was perfect, we can mark each other and then we will have a official ball in two or three weeks and we will mark each other on sunday morning so we have rest for whole day," she said happily, it was very new and she looked beautiful wearing this smile and twinkle in her eyes. I don't know much about this mate and marking thing but from what knowledge I have that, once you mark, you would never be able to stay away. In short, how the person is doesn't matter you are trapped with him for eternity and if something hurts him physically or emotionally then other too can feel these emotions even physical pain is visible on other if one is hurt badly.
