Chapter Seventeen: Event(II)

I didn't bother to argue further and ate dinner keeping my eyes on food.

"Krista I apologize for not coming to pick you up because I wanted to make sure that everything was perfect and I can give my whole time to you. I hope you don't mind," I just smiled and blinked my eyes.

"Can I drive you back?" He asked me while having ice cream.

Now this was the question I need to think about, I do need to find out what made that all stuff happen but then maybe it would be a risk I mean if he can make me loose once then he can do that again. Right?

Finding reason was more important and I need to learn to not letting him have my control. So I chose later one.
It was worth taking risk.

In car with Ben
I was leaning on window looking outside while Ben was driving.
It was silence for solid fifteen minutes which he decided to break.

"Krista I know the real reason why that happened?" Ben said what has been in my mind all the time and it was now obvious to guess.

This made me jerk my head in his direction within millisecond.

"And that is?" making him jolt.

He didn't answer for a while and stopped car in corner of road then looking straight into my eyes which I think was almost a minute, "I am falling for you."

My eyes would pop out now. Wait! What? Ben the bad boy is falling for me? I think I might have heard it wrong.

"Yes even I'm finding it hard to believe but that is true otherwise that would not have happened. That was not just a magic, they were my feelings, I didn't knew they would affect you to this extent." Now this did make some sense to me but I was just confused like my thinking process was stopped, I didn't know what I'm supposed to say or ask. Then suddenly something kicked me, "When did you last experienced this?"

He hesitated for a moment, "Couple of decades ago....." He took a pause maybe thinking whether or not to tell.

"I was in love with a vampire, a regular vampire. You had at least some of control, she never had any of it and if I left her for second she used to get frustrated," he said almost dreamily missing those moments.

Okay so this would happen only if he is in love not like anytime he wants.

Crap! but he can do with me cause he said that this happened cause he is already-

Oh shit this isn't good, I mean it did felt good but not out of love.

"Krista," his voice brought me out of my thinking, "I'm all ears," I said sternly.

"Nothing," he said while starting engine.

I again leaned on window mumbling song to myself and not thinking about Ben because it did scared me as hell.

He opened door for me and held his hand, I took it cause I didn't wanted to show him that I'm scared.

He did had warmth in it which attracted me, "Krista don't be mad at me."

I didn't knew what to say so I said nothing and stared at distant forest above his head.

"Krista Tension, I'm in love with you," he was no longer standing but on his knees with my hand his.

I was shocked would be an understatement year, "Whoa Ben hold on your horses, don't you think it's too early for all this." I became defensive all of sudden and tried pulling my hand which he held tightly.

"It is not, at least not for me," he stood up himself not before placing kiss on my back of hand and hugged me tightly, " I know I'm in love and you need to know that, I don't want your answer right now so take your time," he pulled back and kissed my forehead as he said last part.
