Chapter 42: Unexpected text

Maddy's pov

It has been a week since the girls and I had gone bowling.

Erin, Abby and I had been working almost all week and I had made enough money to finally get mine and Abby's new house.

Yes I said house.

Me and Abby had been searching online for the past week and we found a house for rent only a few minutes away from the cafe.

We were so excited because we were going to be able to call a place ours and be able to play lots music and do whatever without disturbing the landlord or other attendants.

It was going to be awesome.. I couldn't wait.

The only thing bad about this week was I kept getting text messages and calls from Calum.

It was good to know he wasn't giving up so quickly and that I could possibly mean something to him, but God was it annoying because I was trying so hard to ignore him.

He kept leaving me worried voice mails and I just couldn't take ignoring him and longer.

Luckily I only had two more weeks left till I could see the other boys and well I missed them a lot.

It was going to be hard having to see Calum, but I'd have to just deal with it.

I felt my phone buzz in my back pocket, letting me know I had a text.

I handed a customer her coffee as I gave her a small smile as she thanked me.

I took out my phone expecting to see a text from Calum, but surprisingly it was Michael.

'Maddy, can you please call me? We need to talk about you and Calum..'

I sighed as I told Abby and Erin I had to call Michael.

I made my way outside to the parking lot and called him.

He immediately picked up

"Hello??" He said quickly.

"Hi Mikey" i said softly.

"Oh my god you're alive" he said I could hear him sigh in relief.

"Yes I'm alive haha" I smiled to myself.

"Why haven't you been answering Calum's texts and calls?" He asked worriedly.

"Are you near him?" I asked curiously.

"No I made sure he left before I texted you" he stated.

"Ok well.. I figured you already knew that he cheated on me but obviously you don't.." I told him trying not to bring back the images into my head.

"Wait.. Whatt?!" He questioned.

"You heard me.. He cheated Mikey" I said quietly.

"He couldn't have" he said confused.

I put him on speaker and told him I would send him the link to the pictures.

I sent them waiting for him to look at them.

"Wow.." Is all he could say.

"There's gotta be some explanation for this.." He said.

"You're telling me you didn't know about it?" I asked him surpised.

"No this is the first time I've heard about it." He said angrily.

"Well that's the reason I haven't talked to him.. Please tell the other guys it's nothing against them ok? I haven't been avoiding you guys at all. Only Calum" I sighed.

"I will and I'm gonna have to talk to Calum about these fuxking pictures because I need an explanation for this bullshet" he told me.

"Alright Mikey well I gotta get back to work. Have fun at your show to night ok? And wish the other guys luck for me. Love ya dude"

"Will do love ya too mads" he said before hanging up.

I put my phone in my pocket as I made my way back into the cafe.

"What'd he say?" Erin asked.

"He didn't know" I said.

"He didn't know about Calum cheating?? But that's Calum's best friend?" Abby stated.

"That's what I'm saying.. I don't know he's going to talk to him later and well he sounded pretty pissed" I shrugged.

"At least Calum is going to know that you found out" Erin insisted.

"Ya maybe he'll stop acting like he still loves me.."
