Chapter 6: Her

Calum's pov

We had been watching the movie for about an hour now and I don't know if Maddy realized it, but we were basically cuddled up to one another right now and I'm afraid to move because what if she realizes how close we are and gets uncomfortable being this close to me? To be honest I was enjoying how close I was to her.

Not to make that sound weird or anything. I just really liked the feeling of having her close to me.
It made me feel... Happy

"omg" she said as she giggled at the movie.

Damn her laugh was adorable..

I smiled and looked down at her trying not to let her notice I was looking at her.

I sat like that for a few minutes just looking at her.

Every feature of her was beautiful. Her eyes, her smile, her nose, her hair.. Just her in general.

I forced my eyes back to face the tv because I knew I couldn't be thinking of her like that.

I needed to face that fact that Maddy had just gotten out of an abusive relationship yesterday and I knew damn well she wasn't going to be looking for another relationship anytime soon.

Another 30 minutes had passed and the movie had ended.

I looked down to ask her what she wanted to watch next only to find she had fallen asleep on me.

I couldn't help but find myself smiling..

I shook my head telling myself again that I couldn't like her.

I looked at my phone on the table in front of us and seen it was 7:30.

I guess I should carry her upstairs I thought to myself.

I slowly moved trying not to awake her.

I picked her up bridal style and made my way to the stair case, carrying her up the stairs to the spare bedroom.

I opened the door then entered into the room as I set her down on the bed grabbing an extra blanket off the end of the bed, covering her up.

I moved the hair out of her face and looked at her for a second before kissing her forehead.

"Goodnight Maddy" I whispered before leaving
