Chapter 20: Misunderstood

Maddy's pov

I woke up the next morning to find I had fallen asleep cuddled next to Calum.
His arm was wrapped around my waist and my body was pressed against his.
I tried to unwrap his arm so I could get up, but his grip around my waist was too strong.

He moved slightly and I heard him say something.

He must've been talking in his sleep.

I gave up after a few minutes and decided to just go back to bed.

Calum's pov

I woke up to have Maddy cuddled into my side.
I smiled to myself.

I didn't want this moment to ever end, but I had to get up.

I slowly got up trying not to awake her.

I looked around to see everyone else was sleeping.

Michael and Erin were cuddled up next to one another.

Tyler's head was on Ashton's chest as he was snoring softly.

Luke was holding onto Abby as if he never wanted her to let her go.

I shook my head and laughed to myself as I made my way into the kitchen to get something to drink.

10 minutes later i heard footsteps going up the stairs.

The girls must've been going upstairs into Maddy's room.

I went into the living room to find out I was right.

"Goodmorning " I said to the boys as they finally woke up.

"Morning where's the girls?" Luke questioned as he yawned.

"I think they're in Maddy's room" I shrugged.

"I gotta go get dressed anyway so I'll see what they're doing" I added.

"I'm gonna get something to eat" Michael said getting up and walking into the kitchen to get some left over pizza.

"Alright I'm gonna clean up down here a bit" Ashton told us.

"I'll help ya" Luke insisted.

I thanked them and made my way upstairs.

I went to my room picking out a pair of jeans and a band tee for today, quickly getting changed.

I made my way passed Maddy's room as I heard the girls giggling.

"God he's so cute" I heard Maddy say.

I stopped and listened to see who she was talking about.

"You should I totally ask him out he seems great" Tyler said.

"Agreed!" Abby

Who were they talking about?

Did Maddy have a crush on some guy?..

I knew I had no chance:/

I made my way back downstairs trying to act like I didn't hear what they were just talking about.

Short update but I hope y'all like it. Ik Ik cal needs to realize Maddy likes him cuz lets be real.
