Y/N's P.O.V

As we gazed upon the stars I felt as if someone was looking at me. I turned my head to meet Mitch's eyes. We both smiled and he said "I got something for you."

"What else could you get for me beside being an amazing boyfriend and the best date ever?"

"This." he says as he pulls out a small wrapped box from his bag and hands it to me. I politely take it and gently unwrap it. I open the box to see a really expensive looking pair of sunglasses. "Oh my god, Mitch! You didn't have to do this, I said I could get my own."

"And I said I would get you a new pair." he says as I roll my eyes. I put the glasses down on the towel and wrap my arms around Mitch's neck. I push my lips to his and he kisses back. He wraps his arms around me and pulls me closer. He rolls over so he is on his back and I'm on top of him, still kissing. His lips tasted so sweet and felt so warm, like always. Sparks flew in my stomach as Mitch run his hands slowly up and down my back. We pull away and he asks "Want to go for a walk?"

"Sure." I reply. He picks up the towel and shakes it so it is sand free and blows out the candles. He places it all in his bag and quickly runs it back to the car. As I wait I put my glasses on top of my head and pick up my sandals to carry. He runs back and places his hands on my waist, picking me up and spinning my around. I scream playfully as he giggles. He finally puts me down and holds my hand. "Let's go!" I say.

We begin walking in the cold wet sand where the water barely reached our feet when the waves crashed. We continue walking and Mitch begins to hum a tune. It eventually turns into him singing very softly. I can't make out the words until he sings a little louder and looks down at me He smiles into his singing and I rest my head on his shoulder and gaze up at him.

  "Driving up the coast somewhere
Salt water in your hair
Too many people on this road
We could take the canyon home"

He hums a small tune before starting again.

"Like a myth, the story of our lives
Couldn't fit in only black and white
If it's true that legends never die
Me and you could stand the test of time"

He pauses for half a second and continues.

"We could be timeless, we could be classic
We could be stars, we could be rose gold, rose gold
We could be diamonds, we could be an anthem

We could be stars, we could be rose gold, rose gold"

"Like a myth, the story of our lives" I remember  the verse from a minute earlier and softly sing along.

"Couldn't fit in only black and white
If it's true that legends never die
Me and you could stand the test of time"
We continue as the smile spreads on his face as he hears me sing.

"We could be timeless, we could be classic
We could be stars, we could be rose gold, rose gold
We could be diamonds
Yeah, we could be rose gold, rose gold"  We finish.

"And you say your not good at singing." He says.

"I'm not." I throw back.

"But you are." Mitch says.

"I can't argue mush with someones opinion, so thanks." I say

"It's not an opinion. It's the truth, if anyone ever told or tells you otherwise, their lying." He remarks. I giggle and wraps my arms around him. He rest his head on mine as we continue to walk. We walk for a couple more minutes before Mitch stops and bends down picking something up. He gets up a in his palm lays a perfect sand dollar. "For you." He says placing it in my hand and enclosing my hand around it. "Thanks." I say with a smile and place the sand dollar in my pocket.

"Want to head back?" He says. I can tell he is trying to hold back a yawn but can't. "Sorry. he mumbles.

"It's ok, and sure I'm getting tired also." I say. he grabs me hand and starts running back. I giggle trying to keep up but eventually slow down and have to catch my breath, but Mitch has to also. we just hold hands ans swing our arms as we walk the rest of the way back. We hop into his car and drive off. He turns on the radio and a somewhat familiar tune comes on. The lyrics play and I realize it was what Mitch was singing to me earlier. I look over to him and he has wide eyes, he seems surprised. "Mitch, you ok?" I ask.

"It's OUR songs" Mitch says "on the radio!"

"Congrats!! Is this the song you were singing earlier? Whats it called?" I ask.

"Yea it is. The name is Rose Gold." He states as he pulls into thee drive way. He opens my door and helps me out. I jump up and wrap my arms around his waist. "Congrats, babe." I say and peck his lips and walk up to the door and let myself in. I walk back to my room and change into my pajamas. I quickly brush my teeth and brush my hair. I walk into Mitch's room to find him doing his hair. He just has pants on and my hands are really cold. I sneak up behind him and place my cold hands against his back. "OH MY GOD! Y/N! So cold!" He shouts as he jumps away shuttering. I giggle a little at his reaction. he rolls his eyes and puts a smirk on his face. He leans me down on his bed and kisses me. I kiss back. This kiss isn't gentle and passionate like the other ones but rough and desperate. He pulls away and whispers "thanks for one of the best nights of my life Y/N. Night" he says as he kisses my forehead and walks into his bathroom.

Before he closed the door I said "No, thank you Mitch for planning it all. It was truly magical. Goodnight babe." I say and a smile comes across his face before closing the door. I walk back to my room and get under the covers of my bed. I drift off to dreamland while replaying tonight in my head.
