Before we start, OMG we reached 100 reads! Yay! It's a milestone for me so deal with me celebrating!

Y/N's P.O.V

It was about 8:00 P.M when we finally decided to head out. I had agreed to stay sober so I can drive us home. The boys disagreed saying that I should be ale to do whatever I want since it was a welcome celebration for me. I just said that I didn't feel like drinking much and it settled the argument.  I drove us there with Mitch passenger and Scott sitting in the back. Apparently we were also meeting their other 3 friends there, Avi, Kevin, and Kirstie. I pulled into the parking lot and got lucky to get a front row parking space. It was fairly crowded at the place. We walked in and Mitch immediate took my hand and dragged me to a table where there were three others. Must have been his friends.

"Hi you must be Y/N, I'm Kirstie and its a pleasure to meet you."  The blonde gal greeted.

"Yea, I'm Y/N. You two must Avi and Kevin." I said.

"I'm Avi and that's Kevin." The guy with shaggy brown introduced. His voice was so deep! The complete opposite of Mitch's. Kevin gave me a little wave. I waved back and smiled. Mitch wondered of towards the bar with Scott, Avi and Kevin. Kirstie and me just sat at a table and watched the boys go at it.

"So Kirstie how long have you known Mitch?" I asked.

"Since I was eight. You?" She asked.

"Eight! My god. Like 4 days I think." Which seemed puny compered to how long she has known him.

"Wow that's impressive for how much he talks about you." she remarks.

"He talks about me?" I say.

"Like 24/7. He really does like you more than just a friend. He is just afraid that you won't like him back. Do you?" Kirstie asks.

"Who couldn't? He is literally flawless. That makes 2 people who told me he likes me." I add.

"That's because it's true. Sooner or later  he might try to ask you out. Now that I know you like him, would you mind if I tried to give him the courage to ask you out?" She asks.

"Of course not!" I say with a smile creeping onto my face. Me and Kirstie continue talking and we don't drink anything but some soda. Staying sober! Me and her just had this thing where we clicked and became really good friends. We exchanged numbers and stuff before I felt someones arms around my waist. For a second I think its Mitch but this person is to bulky. I turn around to see some drunk dude smiling like a dork at me.   "Hey cutie want to dance?" he says.

I simply turn back to Kirstie who looked worried and said "Not interested."

His 'embrace' got tighter and said "You should be." through his not gritted teeth. I got scared because any tighter my head might pop off. He stands me up and turns me so I'm looking at him. He smells of alcohol and says "Your gonna dance whether you like it or not.."

"Umm no I'm not." I say a slip out of his hold.

"Oh yes you are." he says and grips me so tight I fell like my blood circulation is being cut off. Out of the corner I see Mitch with his fist in a ball and face red with anger. I turn to him with a worried look and mouth 'help me'. He gets what I'm trying to say and stomps over to where I am being held.

"Excuse me, let the girl go. Now." Mitch says sternly.

"What you going to do about it pretty boy?" the guys states. I cringe at the name because it's what Caleb called him.

"I.. uh... umm." Mitch stuttered.

"That's what I though there boy princess." the guy laughed. He let go with one hand and balled it into a fist. He was about to hit Mitch when I wiggled out his arm and jumped in front. My vision went blurry as there was an impact on my face that was aimed towards Mitch. I hit the ground with a thud. Mitch drops to his knees next to me with tears in his eyes. "Oh my gosh! Y/N! Can you hear me?" He starts to panic. Kirstie soon is on the other side of me.

"I'm fine Mitch. I'm used to it." I say. He starts to cry. "Hey I'm ok. Calm down." I say.

"You shouldn't have done that. It would have been better if it was me." Mitch sobs. His tears are landing on my face.

"I agree with pretty boy over here. Well my jobs done better get going." The guy who hit me snickers and sprints out of the place.

"Mitch calm down. It's ok." I try once more.

"No it's not." He simply replies. he pulls me up onto my knees and hugs me crying into my shoulder. "Never do that again." he whispers into my ear.

"No promises." I mutter. I pull back and look at his face wiping away the tears that are still rolling down his face. I stand up and pick him up with me. I look behind me and see Kirstie standing in the door way cussing out the guy a punched me. I look over Mitch's shoulder to see Scott, Avi, and Kevin with super worried faces on.

"Lets go Y/N." Mitch says. I nod and say me goodbyes to the other three and leave with Scott and Mitch. I get in to drive and Mitch is shotgun once again leaving Scott in back. I can tell I'm going to have black eye tomorrow. "I'm so sorry Y/N." Mitch says.

"Stop it. I chose to do it and save you. like I said I'm use to it." I say.

"But you shouldn't be." Mitch adds. I glance at him and out the window watching where I was going. "I love you to much to see you like that." he adds again.

"Same here. That's why I did it." I comment. He rolls his eyes and blushes a bit. He does like me. "Thank you." I say.

"For what? Watching you get punched in the face?" Mitch. I giggle. "Its not funny." he adds.

"No, for saving me. Saving me from the dark places in life." I say. He looks up to me and nods. He still doesn't 100% get it because he only knows about Caleb. Nothing about me child hood. One day Iwll have to tell him but not today.
