Y/N's P.O.V

It's 3 months since my discussion with Jeremy. I have encouraged Mitch to move on and to be fair, I think he has but is hiding it. He thinks that if he admits it he will hurt me which isn't true. Well maybe a little true but I encouraged him to do it so it can't hurt that much, right? I've tried to move on but every guy walks away in disgust or I make the moment really awkward which just, you know ruins the whole 'let's be friends' thing. To be honest it kinda hurts because I've tried so many times and Mitch of all people has watched me fail.

Anyways ever since Mitch has gone out one day by himself to find someone he might be interested in he has been WAY happier and not as clingy to me which is just the proof I need to know he has moved on. He is gone more on what he calls 'a meet up with friends' but me and Scott both know he is going on a date. I've had enough of him hiding though.

We were all watching on some TV when it had gone to a commercial break when I decided to ask. "Mitch?" I say.

"Yes honey?" He responds.

"So who have you been going out with? We both know your in a relationship." I say pointing to me and Scott.

"What?! What do you m-mean?" Mitch says slightly panicked.

"It's obvious Mitch! Your making it worse." Scott chimes in.

"Okay, okay. So that day you convinced me to go out and meet people I found the guy." Mitch says.

"Obviously!" I say sarcastically.

"Shush young one!" Mitch hushes "So anyway his name is Jace. he has brunette hair, lighter then mine and stunning sea blue eyes. Not the same as Scott's sky blue ones. He is what you would call muscular but anyways we hit it off that day at the mall. One day we called it official and we've been dating ever since." Mitch says with a confident smile.

"Congrats!" I say and peck his cheek. That's something we never stopped doing.

"I think I'm heading to bed." Scott said.

"Ok" Both me and Mitch said. he left leaving me and Mitch on the couch.

"I'm sorry." Mitch says.

"For what?" I say.

"2 reasons. 1 for not telling you about this. 2 for I guess moving on especially when you've had so much trou-" I cut him off.

"It's fine" I slightly snap at him because he just had to point out that I'm having trouble with getting a new guy. "So a boyfriend eh?" i say changing topic.

"Uh, yeah. Your the one and only girl I liked as a gay or I guess now a bi person." He states which makes me blush. "You should get to bed." He says.

"Okay after you answer this question." I say.

"Hit me." He states.

"When do I get to meet this Jace guy?" I ask.

"#soon" He states. I chuckle and head to my room and go to sleep.

2 weeks later

"Hey guys I have someone I want you all to meet!" Mitch says walking through the door of the house. Scott was on the couch while I was up in my room. I ran down the stairs accidentally tripping on the last one falling to the ground. Mitch looks at me with concern and picks me up asking if I was ok.

"Yeah, I'm fine" I say. I look over his shoulder to see a guy that met the description of Jace that Mitch gave me. Must be Jace then. I had his fist slightly clenched and teeth gritted. Okay was he seriously jealous already? That's a problem. Is my friend not aloud to pick me up after I fell?

"Hi you must be Jace" I say gaining my balance and placing my hand to shake his. He takes and squeezes it slightly harder then a 'hi I'm Jace and it's great to meet you!'

"Hi I'm guessing you Y/N. The girl Mitch lives with?" He says releasing my hand. I nod and Scott introduces himself also. Scott must have realized Jace's jealously issue also because we share a slightly worried look.

We all get to know each other and in my opinion i think Mitch could do much better then him but hey if he is happy then I'm happy, I guess. I really don't know. Jace just seems like he doesn't love Mitch the same Mitch loves him. But hey if he doesn't break the chain maybe I'm misjudging him. I'm just afraid he is going to hurt Mitch but I'm not going to say anything to Mitch. Yet.
