Tony's POV:
I watched her sob as she slept. Fuck, I hated seeing her like this. I got up to go shower, I can't watch her sleep in pain. I only took a quick shower and I was getting dressed when I heard her shriek. I ran back into the bedroom, with nothing on.
"CHARLIE, WAKE UP," I yelled as he I shook her. Her eyes snapped open and she looked around the room. She stopped when she saw me.
"Well, good morning to you too," she said in a small voice. She giggled but then snuggled into my chest. I sighed in relief and pulled her into me. "What," she asked.
"I hate when you don't sleep well. I don't like seeing you in pain but when you screamed I just felt like my heart was breaking because I can't protect you in your dreams," I breathed out into her ear. I sat back down in bed and let her cuddle against my chest. She was wearing my Key Street hoodie and nothing else, she looked good despite not getting a good sleep.
"They're just dreams," she mumbled into my chest.
I moved the hoodie up to expose her back and I started rubbing circles, making her relax. "What was this one about," I ask curiously.
She sighs, which means it was about me. "We were getting married and I had doubts. Which I totally don't by the way. But we got married and the whole ceremony you were looking at some girl in the audience. She was blonde, tattooed, fake, I think her name was Jessie. Well we got to the reception and you were spending the whole time with her and eventually I found out you were sleeping with her whilst we were dating and that's why you pulled away from me. I also found out I was pregnant but because I felt like you didn't want me I thought it would be better to die. I went to Coronando bridge and I was getting ready to jump but Mike called me. He was trying to help me down but my heel got caught and I slipped. I screamed as I hit the surface of the water, and then you woke me up," she explained quietly. She had tears in her eyes, lately she couldn't tell what was a dream and what wasn't. "I know I seem angry lately with everything that's gone on but I'm not, I promise. I'm just going through a hard time right now."
I looked down at our hands as they were clasped together. I smirked at the new tattoos that dawned our ring fingers. "I love you," I whispered in her ear.
"I know," she giggled. She leaned up and kissed me. It was gentle but needy. She needed to know that this was us, that this was now. "Let's get married... again." Her voice was a little above a whisper but I heard her loud and clear.
"Are you sure," I asked her. Of course I want to marry her, she's amazing but after all she's been through I want to make sure she knows what she's doing.
She let out a small laugh, "Only if you're not actually cheating on me with a girl called Jessie."
I frowned a little, "I'd never do that to you. I love you so much." I kissed the top of her head and tighten my hold of her. She nuzzled further into my chest and murmured something that I didn't quite catch. "Say that again, love."
"I said, let's go today. You, me, Liam and the boys. At City Hall. Nothing big or flashy. You and Me," she repeated. I smiled to myself and nodded.
"If that will make you happy, we can go to City Hall. I don't need a flashy wedding as long as I get you." I traced along her collarbone tattoo. She's so different from the girl I knew 5 years ago. She's become more use to herself and not what someone wants her to be.
She looked up and kissed my lips once more before sprinting off to the bathroom. I heard the shower flip on and I sprinted to join her, even though I showered earlier. She giggled as I slid into the bathroom, still naked from the first time. She slowly pulled my hoodie over her head and revealed several of her stomach and side tattoos. She beckoned me with her finger as she jumped in the shower. I shook my head and joined her.
