Chapter 3: The Underground Battle

Your POV

I held my stomach in pain as monsters around me started disappearing. I turned around to see Rogue running to me. I could see Bickslow and the others behind him fighting off the monsters. I turned towards the cells and saw Romeo defending Wendy while she unlocked the door to the cells. I turned back to Rogue who was a few metres away from me. I started limping towards him but I was held up by my neck. It didn't take me long to figure out it was the troll who had me in his hands. I struggled against his grip as I felt the oxygen in my lungs begin to fill with toxin.

"Don't try it boy. Unless you want her head for a souvenir." I didn't need to see his face to know that he had a smirk planted on it.

Rogue stopped a few feet away, anger filling his eyes. "Let her go!" He yelled at the troll.

"Nope. I didn't just take the children from Magnolia because I wanted to. No no no. I took them because I was ordered to. I don't give two shits about what happens to the kids. I just wanted the girl. You see, she belongs to my client. And he always gets what he wants" He said, throwing me to a nearby wall. I could feel my ribs shatter from the impact.

I screamed in pain as I fell to the ground. I clutched my ribs wishing the pain would end. My vision started blurring, my ears were ringing, my head was pounding and I was bleeding a pool of blood. I was on my hands and knees, clutching my ribs trying to put them back in place. But all that came was more pain. I squeezed my eyes shut as I could feel myself leaning into the darkness. Just as I was about to give in, I heard Rogues voice.

"(Y/N)!!!!!" I looked up at him and saw him fighting the troll. He's fighting..........for me?...........

Rogues POV

I watched in horror as (Y/N) was thrown into the wall. I could hear her ribs crack from here. I looked up at the troll and saw him smirk evilly.

"What do you mean she belongs to your client?! Who Hired You?!?!?!?!" I yelled at him as he got out his battle axe.

"I can't tell you that. It's confidential." He spoke calmly.

"Then I'll make you talk. SHADOW DRAGON SLASH!" I shouted as I jumped at the troll, my right arm covered in shadows. The troll jumped just as I was about to hit him, punching the ground instead. He held his axe and swung it at me. A shockwave was sent from it, hitting me causing me to slide a few feet back. I looked back at (Y/N) and saw her struggling to stay awake.

"(Y/N)!!!!!" She looked up and our eyes met for a second until the troll decided to take another swing at me. I dodged it and punched him hard in the face making him fall back a few metres. I didn't hesitate to give him another hit in the face.

"SHADOW DRAGON CRUSHING FANG." I hit him hard in the face causing him to fall backwards. He looked at me with fury in his eyes readying his axe. He screamed at me running towards me. Before he could swing, I dispersed into shadows.

"WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?!" The troll yelled looking around frantically trying to find me. I circled around him unnoticed. Or so I thought. He swung his axe in the ground where my shoulder was. I screamed in pain as I punched him away from me allowing me to pull the axe out of my shoulder. I appeared back in human form holding my shoulder while I looked at him getting up. We were both hurt, but not ready to give up.

I looked back at (Y/N) as I saw Wendy run to her aid. Romeo and Mest were guiding the children up a tunnel that led up to the surface. I looked back at (Y/N) as she collapsed.

I need to get to her, time to finish this.

"Shadow Drive." I wasn't gonna let her die. Not when she has a family to look after.

I dispersed back in the shadows as I zig-zagged my way to the troll. "SHADOW DRAGON SLASH" I appeared behind the troll hitting him in the back sending him flying to the wall. I looked at him as he struggled to get up, eventually committing to unconsciousness. I heard whimpers of pain and I looked at (Y/N) as Wendy, Sting, Romeo and Bickslow were surrounding her. I ran towards her as she screamed in pain.

"What's happened what are her injuries?!" I asked Wendy as I knelt down by (Y/N)'s head, looking at her bloody face. She looked at me with her (e/c) eyes, tears streaming down her face.

"Her ribs are shattered and her leg is badly injured. I can heal them but you guys will have to hold her down." Wendy explained as she slowly healed her left leg. I looked up at her and was about to say something until Bickslow spoke up.

"What do you mean hold her down?!"

"I need to break her ribs back into place if I am to heal her properly." We all looked at her in shock.

"How long will it last?" Sting asked.

"A few minutes but she'll feel extreme pain in the process."

"Ok, guys hold her down, the quicker we get this done the quicker we get outta here." Bickslow said as he started holding down her right leg. Sting held her ankles while I held her arms. Romeo stood up behind us defending us from any monsters that came near us. I glanced at Sting giving me the look while slightly smirking. I ignored it as I looked back down at (Y/N).

"Ok ready?" Wendy asked as she placed her hands on (Y/N)'s ribs, hovering above them slightly. We all nodded our heads.

Wendy sighed as her hands started glowing. (Y/N) started shifting uncomfortably. Soon enough, I heard cracking in her ribs as she screamed in pain, struggling against our grip. We held her down, as she tried to wiggle her way out of our grip. Her hands gripped the dirt, scratching the dirt in her hands. I slid my hands down to hers, she gripped my hands as I gripped hers. I looked into her eyes as she opened them. We stared at each other for a little bit until she screamed in pain again, squinting her eyes shut.

"We're almost there, keep holding her down!" Wendy said.

"She's strong I'll give her that." Sting stated as he struggled to hold her ankles down.

"Just a little more!" Wendy shouted.

(Y/N) screamed again. Then she stopped, panting, keeping her eyes closed.

"What happened?!" I ask, as I feel her muscles loosen.

"She passed out, must have been the pain. Good timing too, I just finished healing her." Wendy explained.

I looked over to Romeo to find him struggling to fight off the monsters. A monster was about to leap on him until Natsu came in.

"FIRE DRAGON ROAR!!!!" Natsu roared as he defeated the final monsters. Romeo smiled at Natsu. Just then, the cave started rumbling, rocks started falling.

"Natsu! That was too much pressure for the cave to handle!!!" Lucy yelled at Natsu.

"Quick everyone to the tunnel!" Carla yelled.

I didn't hesitate to pick up (Y/N). I ran to the tunnel with Sting, Lector and Frosch behind me. We rushed to the tunnel, avoiding the falling rocks that fell near us. One was about to strike through me before Sting smashed it to bits. I looked back at him nodding a thank you as we continued our way to the tunnel. We were the last ones to come through before the tunnel was blocked off by the rocks. We all ran out of the tunnel and into the sunlight. I looked around and saw everyone relived and catching their breath. I looked at the limp body in my arms.
