This has nothing to do with the movie, well, maybe a little.

Your POV
~A few hours later at your house~
Cass sits on a stool in the kitchen with a formally dressed man standing behind her. I sit opposite her with Rogue standing close by me. The only thing separating me and Cass is the kitchen island.

I stare at Cass intensely before shifting my gaze to the man behind her. He notices and gulps as he rolls his shoulders. Cass clears her throat.

"I didn't tell you to bring...Him." She stares at Rogue with cold eyes.

"I didn't tell you to bring a lawyer" I reply coldly.

"He's here because he has the legal documents to show you. There's no reason for your boyfriend to be here though." She says the last sentence with a 'matter of fact' tone.

"I'm here to support her. That's all I'm here for." Rogue speaks.

Cass death glares him. "She doesn't need support, you aren't family so I ask you to get out of this house."

"Don't talk to him like that, he's here because I asked him to be here. Michael and Catalina met him and they have no problems with him and besides, this is my house so my rules apply." I state, raising my voice slightly.

Cass stares at me with a disgusted face. Her face switches back to her normal, expressionless face as she reaches down below her feet. She comes back and places a briefcase in between us. I stare in shock as she opens it, revealing a small, neatly stacked pile of papers. The lawyer comes and grabs the first few papers and tosses it in front of me.

"Those papers are the laws for child support. It states that a proper adult should take care of children by signing legal documents from before birth. If the carers change then the documents should be signed again but with the new carers name, age, relation, and occupation." The man states. I take the papers and read it. "Since you haven't signed them, you are unable to supervise them. It also states that anyone with failure to sign the documents will be confronted with a fine. But due to your relation with the kids at hand, you won't be confronted with the fine."

I stare at the papers in shock as Rogue does the same.

"When was this law implied?" I ask, looking up from the papers and gaze at the man.

"Well the child support lawyers have been trying for 4 years to imply this law. It was only until a few months ago that it was finally put into the government's law book." The man answers.

I avert my gaze to Cass. "So you've been watching. You've been watching the voting trials since the beginning of the law announcement haven't you. You just wanted an excuse to take them away from me. You were waiting for the perfect time to snatch them away."

"Don't be silly child. I'm only doing this for yours and their safety. You're too young to look after kids. You should be enjoying your childhood while you still can." She replies.

"Don't you dare throw that card on the table. If you really cared about my childhood you would've come to me when mom and dad died instead of waiting for the law to come out. You never cared about me you only cared about Michael and Cat, you knew I wouldn't give them away after the event so you decided to wait till the child law came out so you could build your lawyer army and snatch them away from me."

"What?! I've always cared about you. I just think it's best if you let me take care of Michael and Catalina from now on. You have your own life to take care of."
