Chapter 14: I'll wait for you

               

Your POV

I wake up to a ray of sunlight beaming through the curtains and onto my face. I squint my eyes open, lifting my hand up to block the sun. I turn around and look beside me seeing the blanket lying there with the corner turned over as if someone got out.

I smile as I smell the familiar, yet captivating scent. I sigh through my nose as I slowly sit up. I slide out of bed and yawn. I freeze and look down to realise that I'm still in Rogue's t-shirt, which looks more like a nighty on me. I head towards the bathroom and open the door. I grab my pants and slip them on before heading out into to the hallway.

My nose immediately fills with the sweet smell of bacon and...pancakes?! I walk out into the kitchen to see Rogue (with a shirt on) over the stove, cooking some pancakes and the exceeds on the kitchen bench munching on some bacon. Rogue glances at me and turns the stove off.

"Good morning." He says as he takes two plates and places them on the bench next to Frosch and Zalia. He then walks up to me and plants a kiss on my cheek.

"I made you breakfast."

"You didn't have to."

"I know. I just thought that I'd do it for you."

I smile lightly at him as he takes my hand and leads me to the stools. We sit down and eat our meals.

"Are you ok with going to the guild today? Sting told me that everyone in the guild knows about you and Cass." Rogue asks.

"Really?! Word travels that fast?!"

"With this guild it does. Now that I think about it, nearly all guilds have fast rumours."

"Yeah I guess it does."

"So, are you gonna be alright coming to the guild? If you're not then I'll be happy to stay here with you all day."

"No, it's fine, I'll come."

"Seriously, if you're not up for it then we can chill here and-"

I cut him off "No, I'm fine. I need to be around the guild for a bit anyway."

Rogue sighs and kisses my forehead. "Ok. I'll be right by your side though."

"I know. Thank you."

"No need to thank me. I'm doing this because I love you, and I always will."

"Awe how sweet!" Yukino's voice causes us both to flinch. Rogue and I turn our heads towards Frosch and Zalia. Zalia is giggling uncontrollably with Rogue's phone on FaceTime next to her.

"What the fuck!?" Rogue yells as he gets off the chair and grabs his phone. Yukino is there, giggling along with Minerva in the background.

"Who answered the phone and when?!" I shout.

"I did, AHAHAHA, a couple minutes ago." Zalia says, still having her giggle fits.

"Why?!"

"Because I thought it would be funny and it was." Zalia bursts into laughter again with Yukino and Minerva joining in. I jump off from my seat, snatch Rogue's phone and end the call. I turn to Zalia and say.

"No cat fish for you for a week."

"What?! No! I'm sorry!" Zalia stops her giggling and pouts.

"You better be." I say as I walk to Rogue's bedroom. "I'm gonna go get changed."

"Ok. Oh and (Y/N)?" Rogue calls out to me. I stop at Rogue's door and turn around to him.

"Yeah?"
