Azura lead me to a grand wooden door, and as her delicate hands grasped I caught a glimpse of the underside of her wrist where vibrant colors were visible running through her veins. She pushed the door open and and lead me into a gorgeous room with ceilings of stain glass that spread hues of various colors throughout the space. There were clothes strewn about the floor and one very frazzled looking man in a bubblegum pink suit.

"Edgar." Azura caught the man's attention, her voice as smooth as silk.

He looked up from the pile of clothing he was digging through his grey hair sparse and on end. "Hello, Queen Azura what a pleasure to see you twice on this fine day. I apologize for the mess." He scratched behind his ear.

"This is Isabella, the girl we've been waiting for." She smiled at him with brilliant white teeth and bubblegum eyes.

"Yes, yes, hello you beautiful young girl. I'm so honored to meet you." He shook my hand and kissed both of my cheeks. Leaving a fading pink print behind.

"It's nice to meet you." I smiled. "Not to be rude but can I ask why everyone is behaving like this? I'm only a person." I questioned.

Azura focused on me with colorful eyes "Oh but you're not, You'll know soon enough dear. Be patient." She directed her attention to Edgar and they switched once again to a bubblegum pink. "Please get her in something more suitable and have Marie escort her to the gathering hall."

"Yes, yes, absolutely your majesty. Not to worry I will have her in a gown fit for a princess." He said as he rubbed his palms together nervously.

Azura leaned in to whisper something in my ear, "Edgar is a bit eccentric but an absolutely marvelous being. Please enjoy yourself, I'll see you soon." She pushed a piece of my hair that had fallen behind my hair and swiftly but gracefully left the room.

"Come here gorgeous let me show you some options." Edgar went over to a large white screen and picked up a pen. He quickly sketched a dress, pressed a button and within the minute it was pushed out of the wall on the body of a manikin.

We went through many options and I explained to him that I'm not the most colorful person which gave him a good laugh and he came up with a design which he said was opal inspired. A white silk gown  that glowed various colors when the light hit it a certain way.

"It's beautiful." I said, astounded as I came out of the dressing room and it fit perfectly.

"As are you my dear. We as a whole usually steer clear of white but I do think this may be an exception." He beamed at his work.

The dress had a silk halter top which exposed my upper back, and a gap between the top and the large skirt about three inches long. I felt as if I was swimming in it until he handed me a pair of high heels to match.

After we both admired the dress in the mirror for quite a while it was back to business. He had to do something about my hair. He rubbed a cream through the ends and to my amazement it grew another five inches.

"Wow, what on earth is that?" I asked.

"If, I told you I would have to kill you." He chuckled. "All I can say is that it's a product fit for a queen."

I laughed. He then brought my hair into a fishtail braid and pulled a few pieces down to frame my face, and rested it on my shoulder. This was followed by a long process to make me look as if I wasn't wearing makeup by using a lot of makeup.

I was relieved when he finally said "I'm done and it's marvelous." kissing the tips of his fingers.

I walked towards the floor to ceiling mirror that was leaning against the wall. I had never been one to dress up, I didn't even expect to be this done up on my wedding day. It took my breath away. I stood gaping at myself in awe until Edgar shouted, bringing me out of my trans.

"I nearly forgot to accessorize!" He exclaimed standing up so quickly that he fell to the ground. I hurried over to make sure he was okay but he was already up by the time I got over there in the heels. "Silly old me." He chuckled and continued on his path to the jewelry.

After several minutes of searching he seemed to have found what he deemed to be the perfect accessories. He draped a simple diamond necklace around my neck, two bands around my forearm, and an earring with a cuff attached to the top of my ear by a jeweled chain.

"Now it's perfect." He took a deep breath in, "Lets get you out of here before I change my mind." I laughed and he quickly scurried towards the large wooden doors. After struggling to open the seemingly heavy door he called down the hallway, "Marie! Isabella is ready." and it echoed back at him.

Shortly after, a small old woman dressed in a pale yellow pants suit arrived at the door. She was about half the size of me with these shoes on and she had the voice of a mouse when she said, "you look dazzling young lady." and with a smile she reached up to intertwine our arms and lead me down the hall.
