It was a lovely Sunday evening and Alec was reading in the institute library, sitting quietly on his favorite chair. Then, there was a thump that came through the library door. Alec immediately shot his head up to see who or what It was. "Alexander, sweetheart, look what I found!" Said Magnus in his formal wear he pulled off for the early evening. Alec smiled at the voice he loved oh so much. Magnus then sped across to him and reached his hand out to Alec which had clenched a terribly ripped loose shirt that had colors faded dreadfully. "What's this?" Alec asked. "That demon Clary gave birth to ripped apart my favorite loose shirt! Do you have any idea how expensive it was?!?!"  He yelled loudly. Alec took the demolished shirt from his hands and held his arm. "Okay, calm down buddy." He led Magnus to the seat next to him. "We can just buy you a new one." Magnus's eyes immediately shot open. "Are you crazy?" He asked. Alec thought it was a trick question. "I'm not sure." Magnus rolled his eyes. "Unless you don't have any worries of spending half of your life savings on a shirt, well by all means, go on ahead." He said sarcastically. Alec was shocked on the amount of money he had spent on that shirt. He then got up and left the library, setting his book on the seat open so he didn't loose his page. He then went over to Tiffany, who was painting on the institute walls with bright green. Jace was clearly not paying attention. He then came to her side and crouched down to meat her height. "Tiffany?" He asked. She turned her head and met her puppy dog eyes with his. "Uncle Maggy mad?" She asked in the saddest voice. Alec couldn't say yes to the poor child, he just couldn't. "Oh, he's not mad, he's just disappointed." As soon as he said that, Magnus came storming passed them with the shirt clenched in his hand again. "Disappointed my ass." He said. Alec sighed and rubbed her hair around a bit to distract her. Magnus then came back and crouched down like Alec. "Tell your mother to hold you tight at night." He then stormed away. Alec raised an eyebrow and got up. He then tapped Jace on his shoulder. "Mhm?" Jace asked. Alec handed Tiffany to him. "Keep her away from Magnus."
