~2:30 PM~

I smack my lips and suck my teeth. Yes, I am going for the Thot effect. "So," I I pause and look at Layla. "Why aren't you with Maurice?"

"We broke up." She replies casually.

I look at Daniel giving him an 'I told you' look.

"But why?" I ask wanting to know the reason this time.

"I don't want to be with him anymore."

"Ugh. So not good at giving advice. But yeah at least you're not with someone you don't love."

"I love him.. I just don't want to be with him."

"That's some dumb.. I mean interesting logic." She said that about Jason, Trent, Angel, Francisco, Isaac, San'Jay and Wesley. Just naming some of her previous boyfriends this year.

"Well that's your opinion and you're entitled to it."

"True. True."

"Aye it's almost 3, you ready?" Re asks taking my attention from the foolishness I just heard.

"Yeah." I perk up a little from the thought of seeing my brother.

Re stands up and puts some shoes on, "Then come onnnn! I wanna see my brother!

"Errrr, He most definitely is not your brother."

"Too bad I claim him as mine."

"He doesn't even like you." I laugh and walk over to the door.

"He loves me! And y'all gotta get up out my house." Re says to Daniel, Ronnie, and Layla.

Layla walks through the door towards some house. I'm guessing she knows other people besides Maurice around here. Unless she wants to just chill with him, since she still "loves" him.

"It's been real." Re waves goodbye to her. I also wave but not as enthusiastically.

Ronnie and Daniel head towards the door.

"Ion really wanna go home. Can we just come?" Ronnie asks.

"Um, I guess so.. If you cool with seeing my brother." I shrug. I don't really think anything bad could happen.

Daniel and Ronnie shrug. "Sure."

"But beware of Momma Bear.. She gets a little out of hand. Poppa Bear is usually chill. But aye they might be at work."

Re starts laughing, "Oh god, I love your Mom! You remember that time she left us at Disney Land?!"

"Yass, I was so mad! She said some she thought we were staying with those boys, knowing god damn well Damon was not having that!" I walk over to my car. I notice a car behind mine.

"I'm riding with you." Re power walks to the passenger seat of my car. I notice Ronnie walking towards the drivers side of the car behind mine. I'm going to take a wild and unpredictable guess and say it's his car.

"Just follow me." I say to him.

"That seemed like the plan." Ronnie says with amusement in his voice.

"Hey there, that smartness might get you in trouble."

"Depends on what kind of trouble." He winks and gets into his car.

"You naughty naughty boy." I laugh as I get into my car.

"Payton hurry the what up! I wanna see Dre!" Re fastens her seat belt. I put the key in the ignition and put my belt on.
