Lillie started to actually enjoy the Avengers being her teachers. Well, she still hated Tony as the two don't get along at all! She especially loved Thor's lessons about the nine realms. So far her favorite was Thor and Steve. But, she did start to miss her only friend Marshall. She wondered if he thought about her. If he knew that she was still alive.
One day Lillie was sitting in her room with her notebook. She began drawing a picture of her mother. Lillie has always been a gifted artist. Ever since she could hold a pencil, she's been a brilliant artist. Thor walks in and sees her. "Lillie, are you ready to see your father?"
"Huh," Lillie looks up "oh yeah, I'm coming Uncle Thor," Thor was shocked for a moment. Never before this moment has Lillie called him Uncle. Lillie didn't seem fazed by this. Lillie notices his expression and asked "What's wrong?"
"Oh nothing," Thor says with a soft smile pulling at his lips. Though Lillie seemed content, he could see that something is bothering her. They began to walk down to the cell. "Is everything alright?"
"Yeah... just miss a friend of mine," Lillie looks down. Thor sees her sadness and has an idea.
"I see. What is the name of your friend?"
"Marshall...why?" Lillie looks up at him.
"Just curious," Lillie cocks a brow at the god of thunder as they get to the cell. Thor opens up the cell door allowing Lillie to rush in. Thor leaves the two of them to give them their time together.
Lillie immediately hugs Loki tightly as he hugs her back, holding her in a tight embrace.
"How are you my sweet girl?" he asks looking down to her.
"I am well, Father." Loki sits there a moment staring at her. "You ok?"
"Oh yes...sorry. Just haven't heard you call me Father in awhile," she smiles sweetly and leans against him.
Loki and Lillie talk for hours. Loki was formulating a plan to take his daughter and Catherine away from here. He had found a perfect place while meditating and going from his body. He found a place secure and out of sight. One he could easily enchant so not even Heimdall would be able to see them.
Lillie noticed her Father contemplating something. She tried to use her mind reading abilities, something she didn't really manage to perfect. She tried to concentrate but it was getting hard to focus on what he was thinking. She squints to focus on his thoughts.
Loki felt like someone was trying to get into his mind he looks over to see Lillie looking at him. He smiles.
'Are you trying to invade my mind?' Loki asked through mind message. Lillie was shocked at first and gasps staring up at him. Loki smiled, laughing lightly, causing Lillie to smile as well.
"How did you do that?" Lillie asked excitedly.
"I can show you. And teach you about all the abilities you have," Lillie gives a big smile.
"Really?" Loki nods. "How?! When?!"
"Soon...I promise." Lillie smiles happily and hugs him tightly. He smiled and hugged her back. Lillie was taken back to her room where she fell asleep not knowing about tomorrow.
The next day
Lillie was woken up by Thor. "Lillie..." Thor shook her a bit. Lillie sits up moaning. She looks at the clock."It's 8am Uncle Thor," she said "and Saturday what's this about?"
"Well, I thought since you missed your friend so much. I planned for you to meet him at the park," Lillie immediately bolts up.
"Really?" Thor nods. "He doesn't think me dead?"
"No, any who knew of you and your mother were told by agents in disguise that you had moved elsewhere. I had it arranged for a message to be sent. He is waiting for you." Lillie gets out of bed and hugs Thor. "Thank you so much," Thor smiles and hugs her back. He leaves the room to let her get dressed. She smiles but stops realizing it is winter. She went to the window in her room she opened one of the panels and stuck out her hand. She brought it back in and saw it turned blue. Lillie sighed and went to the closet. Ever since she could remember, whenever it was too cold outside her skin would turn blue, special markings would appear, emerald eyes turning blood red, and golden locks becoming jet black. She pulled out a coat, gloves, sunglasses, and a ski mask. The ski mask she had covered her mouth. She put on everything and stuff her hair in the ski mask. She then headed outside. Thor was waiting on her. He looked at her in a funny way seeing her covered up completely.
"Why are you wearing all of that?"
"I get cold very, very easily," Thor looked at her skeptically. He shakes it off and walks toward the edge of the base. Lillie frowns some looking around. "Where's the jet to take us down?" Thor looks at her and smiles. Lillie is confused at first but then is lifted off the ground. Thor has his hand around her waist and hammer pointed as he takes her flying through the air. Lillie is shocked at first letting out a small scream but smiles. She starts to enjoy it. She laughs, putting her arms out and screams "Woohoo," she never get so alive. Enjoying the moment, Lillie didn't notice her sunglasses flown off her face.
They land at the park where she sees Marshall. Thor looks at her and notices her eyes were red and around her eyes were blue. Lillie frowns at his look before putting a hand to her face. She gasps and eyes went wide as she realized her sunglasses were missing. She freaks out and looks at Thor who also looks shocked. "I'm sorry Uncle Thor. I was going to tell you and Father. It only happens in the cold."
"Lillie it is quite alright," Thor reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pair of sunglasses. Lillie is shocked. "I thought I would bring them to watch you at the park. But here,"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, go have fun." Lillie smiles taking the glasses and slipping them on her face. Thor smile pulling up his brown leather coat closer to him and finding a bench to sit at.
"Thank you," Lillie runs off to where Marshall is. He leans against a tree looking around for Lillie. "Marshall!" Marshall looks up and smiles.
"Hey Lillie!" They meet each other in the middle and embrace. "Almost didn't recognize you with all this stuff on. Why do you wear all of this? Especially during this time of year."
"I can explain. But first, did you hear anything about me?" Marshall was hesitant at first.
"Yeah..." he leans in some close to her. "Is it true about who your Father is?" Lillie looks down. They told him, why would they do that? She takes a deep breath and removes the glasses and ski mask. Marshall looked horrified at the monster he saw. "So, it is true. Your Father is Loki."
"Yes, Marshall my Father is Loki. That's why I look like this in the cold." Marshall starts to back away from her. "But, please Marshall don't tell anyone. Please don't leave..." Marshall sighs.
"Look I won't tell anyone. But, I think we shouldn't hang out for a while," Lillie was shocked. Tears started to form in her eyes. "I'm sorry Lillie... I just can't be seen with... someone like you," Marshall runs off leaving Lillie alone. Lillie breaks down, she cries for her best and only friend she had and now lost. Thor runs over to her and hugs her close to him. He tries to console her before picking her up and flying away from the park.
Meanwhile
Loki sat in his cell watching his daughter with his mind abilities. He suddenly saw her in her Jotun form. He could feel her pain and began to cry for her. 'Don't worry Lillie. I will get you and your mother out of here. Soon..."
