The Daughter of Loki

Back Home With a New Threat

     After her last day there Lillie packs her suitcase. She would be heading home to her father and everyone at SHIELD. She was excited to see her father but was a little upset to leave the family she had here. "Lillie! Are you ready?" Thor calls.

"Yeah, I'm coming!" She shouts back and grabs her suitcase. She walks out and down to the entrance of the castle. Frigga, Odin, the warriors, Theron, Athena, and Thor were waiting. Lillie hugs all of the warriors and Lady Sif. Athena hugs her tightly.

"Come back and visit." Athena says.

"I promise I will," Lillie hugs Theron and smiles.

"Round two when you come back," Lillie laughs.

"You bet!" Lillie walks up to Frigga and Odin. Frigga leans hugs Lillie close and smiles.

"Be safe my granddaughter. Return safe and sound."

"Of course grandmother," Frigga let's her go. Lillie walks forward to Odin. She didn't know what to do and curtsies. Odin laughs light heartedly and hugs her gently.

"Good luck on your trip home my dear."

"Thank you grandfather." Odin leans by her ear.

"Be warned my dear. A great danger awaits you once you return. Be safe and watch out who you trust. Everyone is not who they seemed." Lillie frowns confused but nods at his warning. Odin then lets her go. Lillie walks up to Thor with his horse.

"Ready to go?" Lillie nods. Thor helps her on the horse and hops on. Lillie holds onto him as he rides off. She looks back at everyone who was waving goodbye. She then looks forward as they ride over the rainbow bridge. Thor stops in front of Heimdall.

"Good morning my prince. Taking Lillie home today?" Heimdall looks down at Lillie.

"Yes, is the bifrost ready?" Thor asked. Heimdall nods and walks to the center of the portal control. Lillie walks over with Thor and her suitcase. Her suitcase was heavier as she had snuck some books and such in it. Thor looks at her and helps her by picking up her suitcase. "What do you have in there?"

"Clothes and such. I like to pack a lot," she says. Thor looks at her with a suspicious look. Heimdall starts up the portal. Lillie holds onto Thor as Thor holds onto her. They are sucked in and dropped back down to Midgard.

They land on the SHIELD base. Fury is there to greet them along with Caren. "Welcome back," Fury says. Lillie nods to aknowledge. "Thor we need to talk. We had another...dimensional attack." Thor nods. Caren walks over and walks Lillie away to her room.

As they walked back Lillie looks up at Caren. "What's going on?" Lillie asked.

"Nothing to worry about. Just some SHIELD business." Caren responds. They go to her room and she sets her suitcase down.

"I wish to see my father."

"Alright, you don't want to unpack first," Lillie shakes her head. Caren smiles slightly and nods. She leads Lillie down to Loki. As soon as they entered the room, Lillie runs up to the glass.

"Father!!" Loki looks up from his sitting position and smiles wide. Caren opens the door and Lillie runs into the cell. Loki and Lillie hug each other tightly.

"Lillie, I've missed you so much," he says and kisses her head.

"I've missed you too father." Loki smiles and sits down with her on the bed.

"How was the trip? Who all did you meet?" Lillie began to tell him everything about the trip. All about the rainbow bridge and the beautiful kingdom of Asgard. Loki smiled and laughed hearing about the duel. "You fought valiantly then. Athena sounds like quite the warrior," Lillie nods. Caren's watch goes off.

"It's time to go Lillie," Lillie sighs and looks at Loki. Loki gives her a small smiles and hugs her close.

"It's alright dear. I will see you again soon. I love you," he says softly. Lillie smiles as a tear runs down her cheek. Loki kisses her cheek as Lillie, unwillingly, walks out of the cell. Caren gives her a gentle smile and shuts the cell door. Loki looks at her and frowns at Caren smiling.

"Good day Loki," she says and walks out with Lillie. Loki looks down in thought.

'That smile.....it's just like....' he then had a flash from the past seeing the woman he loved. "Catherine...."
