A week had passed. Lillie refused to leave her room or talk to anyone. Thor brought her meals everyday. He tried talking to her but she just kept her eyes focused on the ground. Lillie finally leaves her room as she was forced to do so. The Avengers were making her start their "schooling" again.

Lillie walks in to Tony's class and notices that there were two desks instead of one. She sits down at one of them staring at the other desk confused. A few minutes later, Tony walks in with a girl beside him. She looked like Lillie's age. She had bright purple hair, with glowing blue eyes, and she wore a pink shirt and blue denim jeans with combat boots. "Hello Lillie, we have someone else here to do SHIELD schooling with you," said Tony. "This is Valinomia."

"Hi Lillie it's nice to meet you," Valinomia said as she sits next to Lillie.

"You too Valinomia," Lillie responds awkwardly.

"Please call me Val."

"Alright Val," they shake hands. Tony walks up to the desk and turns on the holographic projector.

"Alright shall we begin," the rest of the day Lillie and Valinomia talked and had fun. In gym Lillie noticed that Valinomia seemed extremely flexible. She was way better than Lillie in gym. At the end of lessons in Thor's room they talked all hour not listening to Thor at all. About halfway through he gave up and left to let them talk.

"So, Val what are you doing here anyway?"

"Well, I sort of ran away from home and have been on the streets for a bit. One day Dr. Banner was driving by and saw me. He decided to take me in. Then he told me about you and I wanted to get to know you and....well here I am."

"That's awesome but, why did you run away?"

"My parents always called me a freak and stuff just because of who I am."

"What do you mean?"

"I'm..... I'm a mutant," Lillie was shocked.

"Really?"

"Yeah," Valinomia looks down.

"What is your mutation? If you don't mind me asking."

"Well, it's super intelligence that it developed from," Lillie looked at her confused. "Let me explain. When I was born the doctor's said that my brain seemed to be more active than a normal human beings. Later at age six they said there was nothing else they could teach me. But, I was still too young for college. So, I spent time at home just reading everything I could. One day when I turned nine I was sitting on the couch and thought about the book I was reading. My mother screamed and when I looked up I saw the book coming to me."

"So you're telekinetic?" Lillie asked more interested.

"Yeah, I guess so. I worked at it and was able to master it a bit. My parents weren't really happy about it. They would call me a mistake, freak, and basically whatever they could think of. The only one who accepted me was my aunt. But, she died a couple years ago on a mission. After that I ran away."

"I'm so sorry..... wait, did you say... mission?"

"Yeah my aunt was a SHIELD agent."

"That's awesome. What mission was she on?

"She was helping someone from the X-men team. I think they called him Beast. They had to fight this 'Dark Phoenix' and she was one of the first to die," Valinomia looks down at the thought of that day.

"That's awful, I'm so sorry that happened," Valinomia looks up at her.

"It's fine I got over it years ago. That's a reason I always tried to avoid the X-men school. I was approached by Professor X himself but, I declined him. I decided that day I would become a SHIELD agent just like her," Lillie smiles. "This was a really fun day. I've never had a friend before or done this type of schooling."

"Yeah, wanna come to my room? I could show you my drawings."

"You draw?"

"Yeah," they leave the classroom and head to Lillie's room. Lillie smiles thinking to herself 'I think we are going to be best friends.'
