The Daughter of Loki

Caren Revealed

   "What?" Loki says speechless. His eyes were wide with shock. His eyes gleamed with sadness and anger.

"I'm sorry Loki..." Caren says and reaches out to him. He grabs her arm and pushes her against the wall of the cell. Caren gasps from shock and looks at Loki. He grips her throat and began to squeeze.

"How could you not protect her?! I thought that was your purpose!" Caren gasps for air and tried to pry his hands off.

"L-L-Loki..... l-let g-go...." she manages to crack out. His glare deepens and he squeezes harder. The necklace around her neck began to come loose. Her dark brown eyes began to shine with blue. Loki froze and let go making Caren fall to the ground. She gasps and coughs as she struggles to catch her breath.

"Who....who are you?" Caren slowly looks back at him and grips her necklace. She looks up at him with her now blue eyes. Loki felt something familiar with that stare. Caren looks down allowing the necklace to fall off. Her hair became blonde and her body began to change as she stood up. Loki was in shock as her head lifts up. "Catherine..." he says in disbelief. Caren is revealed to actually be Catherine. Catherine tears up a bit as she looks at him.

"Hello my love...." Loki stood there in awe. He walks forward as he puts a hand around her cheek.

"Yo...you're alive...." she smiles a bit and nods. "How?" She sighs as she sat with him and starts to explain.

One Year Ago
Thor came to Catherine's cell on the day of her execution. He walks in as she held a picture of Lillie. "Catherine...it is time," he says sadly. She looks up with a tear falling down her cheek. She is placed in handcuffs and forced to stand by SHIELD agents. Thor took her from their arms as they started walking to the execution room. Halfway down the hall, Thor leans down to her ear. "Get ready to run to the nearest escape pod in ten seconds." Catherine looks at him generally confused. He looks at her with a smile. She smiles and gets ready. The lights shut off, Catherine runs off down the hall, and jumps into an escape pod. She flips it on to life and sets coordinates for a desert near Area 51.

Thor came down hours later as Catherine was hiding in the escape pod. Catherine saw Thor and hops out of the escape pod. He walks to her. "Are you alright Catherine Woods?"

"I'm fine Thor, why did you do that?"

"I owe it to my brother to save his love," Catherine smiles.

"Thank you....but SHIELD will be looking for me. They'll hurt Lillie."

"Don't worry....I've taken care of it. As of their knowledge. You were executed on schedule....a little trick I gained from my mother," Catherine smiles wide and hugs him tightly. She cries from happiness and relief as Thor hugs her back.

Back to the Present
"After that...I took the place of someone meant to be hired. The real Caren Wilkes is currently working as a teacher under a different name after a memory change from Frigga." Loki smiles a bit and hugs her close. Catherine hugs back holding onto him before they share a sweet, loving kiss. The kiss was long and passionate. Loki eventually stops and looks at her.

"I've missed you so much," he whispers.

"I've missed you too...." they kiss once more.

"All were missing is...Lillie!" Loki began pacing. "Who could've taken her?"

"Are there enemies that might have it out for you?" Loki frowns then goes wide eyed.

"We need to go....NOW!"
